While I'm keeping my hopes up, Kanger is not known for getting TC to work very well. Maybe in the newer releases. I have not heard of any complaints about the DB160 so hopefully this will be a winner!

For less than $30 it was a no-brainer buy. Hopefully it does not land on my junk shelf with the rest of my misguided (IE: non-reviewed and/or pre-purchased) pet rocks.

    I have my fingers crossed!

If the TC works well, It will be a Bonus for me. I got mine for the VW.

I'm coming for the Full Mech World of a Coppervape, and the Semi-Mech World of DripBox 60w.

I paid $26.95 for mine. Came to $32.45 with Priority Mail Shipping.

Thought it seemed Unusually Low. But Hey... I wasn't going to Complain.

I think maybe that's what i seen it for yesterday,so almost $10 increase in a day,i don't stand a chance by thursday if they keep that up haha.
    I agree though,for $32 shipped,you can't beat that.If it stays at the $35 it's at now,i'll still grab one,any more than that and i think i'll wait.

Especially seeing that I have been Waiting since August 7th for this DripBox 2 to be Back In Stock. I Never thought in my Wildest Dreams that it would take this Long to get one.

    LOL

I was actually shocked when I saw that it was still at $26.95 when I ordered mine yesterday (ordered mine a few minutes after I got the in stock notification email from MVS). It had been at that price since it was listed on MVS in August and I figured that they would increase the price once they got them in stock. I'm also shocked that I actually bought something that actually increased in price after I bought it..almost always the opposite is true for me.

I use ss316l with the Dripbox 160 in temp mode, works as it's supposed to. The Dripbox 2 chip is likely a variation or update of the same so I wouldn't expect any different.

Exactly hahaha — can't believe I shadow purchased it for $9 less. Persistence pays off sometimes it seems. I had been stalking DB2 for months and acted quickly once it became available at MVS. Now it's $9 more and more importantly out of stock in color SS! Given the seemingly mediocre popularity of this product, I can't believe it's gone so quick. I mean we only have 8 pages in this page!

I dunno what the Popularity of the DripBox 2 is or isn't? Because I know Very Few People who have Actually used one.

I've seen Lots of Speculation. And lots of Comparing to other Products. But Very Few user Reviews.

My DB2 in today. Gotta say it is a very nice looking mod and seems to be well built. In the first hour of playing with it, I can verify what michliu was saying about the tight fit of the bottle casing. It's tight to the point where it is difficult getting the bottle all of the way up so that the bottom magnetic cover will stay flat. I think it may be just a bit of playing around with it to get it to fit right. Definitely something to keep in mind though as I would think the bottom bottle cover could easily come off and be lost.

It does seem to do TC as well as the DB160. Nothing to write home about but doable. I was hoping that it did have wattage adjustment in TC but not so. I did see that there was firmware (maybe an update?) for the DB2 on the Kanger site, but I haven't figured out how to confirm the present firmware on it. I'm not too familiar with other Kanger TC mods beside the DB160 so maybe this is a Kanger thing?

The other notable issue I did notice is the ohms reading issue that the DB160 has when switching attys. It took a few tries for the mod to recognize the correct ohms for the other atty I'm using which is a Derringer V3 with dual twisted 28G SS 11 wraps ohming around .45 ohms. When powering off and back on the ohms would read differently as well. Powered off reading was at .45 ohm and immediately powered back on and it reads at .40 ohms.

The stock RDA setup without adjusting was spitback city just like prior DB RDAs. I haven't rebuilt on it yet so I can't comment on the new post system works.

Got mine in a few hours ago and, while it’s way too early to provide detailed feedback, so far I’ve been really enjoying it. It’s comfortable to hold – the dimensions are about the same as the COV Wraith and, while it’s not as hand-friendly as the COV, it’s a lot nicer for my arthritic hands than the 160 Dripbox.

The screen is very clear and bright. The battery compartment is tight enough to prevent rattle, but not so tight that it’s a struggle to get the battery in/out. The battery door (a screw plug) feels cheap, but the threading is smooth. The fire button is clicky and has good feedback. Unfortunately, it also has some rattle to it. The up/down buttons are clicky and do not have any rattle.

Same bottle as the 160 and no problems getting it in or out. The magnets on the trap door seem stronger than the ones on the 160 – no problems at all with it staying in place.

Haven’t tried the included atty – it’s in my ‘to be washed’ bin since I don’t like to use a new atty without giving it a good washing. It’s working fine with every atty I’ve been using with the 160 and the COV.

Love the look and feel of the stainless steel, but it sure is a fingerprint magnet.

So far, I’m a happy camper.

Mine also Arrived. My First Impressions are Positive.

No Problems with the Bottle fitting too tight. Or with any of the SS Fit and Finish. All Good There.

The size is a Little Big. But I knew it would be Compared to my DripBox 60w or Coppervape.

The TC works. But I have had a Few Glitches with it. The TC seems to work Fine on my NarDa Clone. But it doesn't Always like my O-Atty Clone.

Too early to say what is Going On. Or what the Battery Life will be like. But over-all I am Happy. And for the Price, am Glad I got it.

    :)
