Yes there are standard resistance, LR's, and then the mac daddy the Cisco LR. A few suppliers sell them but I get mine from VaporFlow. I bought the 2 fo 20 deal he has about 2 months ago and then stocked up. I have about 18 right now. I have only killed one and that was due to user error. I was a little overzelous and chain vaped it to death. It was so hot the delrin DT was burning my lips!!!

Anyway I find the draw on a 306 to be much better than a 510. They do seem warmer since your throat is closer to the coil.

I'm definitely a LR fan. Do you know what the Ohms of the 510 LR options and 306 LR options are?

I ohm out all my atty's when they arrive. All my Cisco LR306's and Cisco LR510's ranged between 1.48 and 1.52 ohms. I have other NON Cisco LR's and they hit in the 1.52 to 1.59 range. It may be coincidence but the Ciscos seem to last longer. Hope this helps.

I think I need some help with these 306 LR attys. I got 2, along with the derlin drip tip. I normally drip my reg 510 attys, and I got the 306's because I saw so many great reviews about them. Plus, I want to use them with my Precise 16 once I receive it.

So, I got them, I soaked them in ISO for about 10 mins, rinsed in hot water, dried for a couple days, then started to use them on my Ego 3.7 batteries. I watched several videos, so I have the set up - atty on batty, tip over atty, 3-4 drops of liquid. I burned them several times without taking a drag, then put one more drop in. I vaped 3 different juices for at least 20 drags each - French Toast (with extra flavoring), Almond Pleasure, and Caramel Apple (all from FSUSA).

I cannot seem to get a good flavor from these attys! I'm really not liking it much. Plus, I am getting a chemically taste mixed in with the flavors. They do produce tons of vapor! But, after all the prep I did and even after using them for quite a while, I'm not getting that flavor "pop" everyone has mentioned. I am keeping the atty from drying out - dripping a drop or two after 3-4 vapes. Am I doing something wrong? Will the really great flavor everyone has mentioned come to fruition? Do I just need to keep trying?

I would agree Liv. My Ciscos always last longer than others I have tried. In my experience so far.

When I first started dripping I had the same issues. First off, I've never found a need to use alcohol to clean atomizers. I use the "highping dry burn" method and it works perfectly with no down time. If you have a brand new atomizer, blow out the primer and drop about 4-5 drops and let it sit for a minute. Than vape about 3-4 puffs and then drop another 2 drops. From there you should be good. You'll just need to drop 2 more drops every 5 or so vapes.

Interestingly enough though I did experience and extremely nasty chemical taste on BOTH my 306 (one is LR) and I have no explanation for how it happens (nor does anyone else it seems). I just kept vaping on my LR and now it taste fine. I'm thinking it was burnt juice but I still dont really know. Good luck!

Which brand are you using? I'm assuming you got the Vaporflow kit?

Here's a guide to using their Cisco LR306 atties-if you haven't seen it yet. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vaporflow/128108-lr-306-user-guide.html

I didn't bother blowing out the primer, since there is none on the Cisco. There is a short break-in period too.

Hope this helps!

All I use now is the Cisco LR 306 and everytime I use one of my 501's I just want to go back to the 306. All I do to break them in is to fill up the drip tip about half way, let it sit for a couple of minutes, give it a few quick bursts of power every 10 seconds or so, and then very slowly blow the liquid through to a paper towel. One thing I have noticed is that the flavor seems a little better with the ego than the 18650 but not enough to compensate for the reduced battery life. Oh another thing; I never thought I would like a clear drip tip because I thought they looked cheap but then I got one for free with the 306 and think it is really cool.
