As some of you know I recently discovered dripping. ( it was an accident, Honest)

I have some older atty's that are working good with the 5v (great vapor and flavor) even though I don't know what ohm they are, they were given to me. I put 4 drops in, vape a while then suddenly get burnt taste. I know these atty's had a bunt taste before I tried them on the 5v and I had dry burned the heck out of them best I could.

Is this normal? Is it just that i cannot get them clean enough to get rid of the burnt taste for good?

Perhaps I should ask.. have you ever had a dripping atty that did not ever give you a burnt taste when the juice ran out/got vaped up ?

Lastly, Whats the best atty Ohm wise to use for a 5v for dripping? ( can be a non regular type of atty, like a carto etc give me your opinions) I'm gonna need to buy some atty's for dripping.

3ohm is a good number to use at 5v, I use the old rule of thumb -2 from whatever voltage your using and it will put you close to what ohm Atty you want, I say close. As far as those Attys if there old and you want them to drip with any you can not get them cleaned or tasting good you may want to try and de-Bridge and wick them, this will get rid of that bad taste, try one and see what happens. On the other hand you could give them a soak in PGA, then a quick soak in scope mouthwash, then another rinse of PGA then a hot water rinse, hit them with the hair dryer to get them nice and Dry John Phoenix then re-prime them with some PG, let em sit for a day then try one of them

I'll answer the last first. I do have a Riva and yes, I have used these at 4.2 and 3.7 with cartridges. They always seem just fine till the cartridge gets low on juice. I did compare it with my 2.0 ohm in the 5v. ( I know not to leave it on for long)

I get loads more vape from these older ones than I do from my 2.0, so i'm thinking they are a higher ohm's. They at least do work well to vape and the 2.0 hardly works at all.

I have tried soaking them before in alcohol and rinsing then dry burning.. all of the info in highping's thread. I seem to have done all I can with that.. that method is why I can even use them in the first place. When they were given to me, they were so blocked up they would not vape. that method brought them back to life nicely - but that's only good for when i keep em very wet.

Thanks for the info.. I'll try a 3.0 ohm - this 5v is a passthrough so the voltage won't drip rated at 2 amps.

These are the only two I have that will work in the 5v, so I guess if I cannot find another solution, I will have to try de-bridging and de-wicking one to see if that helps.

I love my new dual carto's but sometimes I just need to drip.. clean awesome flavor and hit and I can switch up flavors more easily.. even though my dual coils come very close.

Thanks guys !

Keep those tips coming folks.. You be the water, I'll be the sponge.. er.. that sounds kinda kinky... sorry..LOL
