it's a glv1,I don't have a multimeter,but today I'll see if I can find one in town
It's very possible it's pumping out more volts then I think, because there is a huge difference between it and my 4.8 box mod. I'm using regular 901 attys, but I have no idea what OMH they are,not that it helps, but it happens no matter which atty I try

And to answer your question, yes, this can be normal for 5v. Depends on the atty used..

Sounds like the GLV might be putting out more than 5v but I cant tell for sure. I would suggest trying a 3.5ohm atty on it before sending it back to Jay at Greatlakesvapor to look at. Is the 901 you are using Low resistance or reg? I have had that happen with my GLV using a reg atty at about 2.2.-2.4 ohms also.

Ikenvape has some good 3.5ohm 901s if thats the atty you like.. I would try that before sending it in for repair.

Sounds like you may or may not have a problem. The GLV is a great PV and you might just have a case of using to low a resistant atty on it. Try a HV atty about 3.5 ohms.. You should see a huge difference.

Having a meter is always good for these type things..
