Hi, I am a relatively new vaper. I tried my first ecig a month ago and never looked back.
I like to drip and try different juices on a 510 atty. I usually drip around 3 drops and that gives me 5 or 6 good hits before the flavor fades and the atty starts tasting burned. Dripping again takes care of that, but when I use a new flavor the tastes start to mix. After a couple of different flavors I am left w/an atty that has no real flavor, except for a nasty burned taste. I have tryed dry burning the atty, but the juice just seems to linger on.
For deep cleaning attys I have had great luck w/Highpings method, but I am looking for something quick and easy here.
I have read that dripping unflavored PG on the atty helps clean up the taste, or even dripping Glycerin Usp liquid.
Any suggestions from the old pros would be welcome.

I'm hardly an old pro but I use the PG method and it seems to help. I just blow out the atty, add a few drops of PG, and blow it out again after waiting a min. It can help to take a vape or two before blowing out the PG, warms it up a bit and seems to help dilute the origional juice. I've seen other folks recommend just vaping the PG and that does work, but I think blowing out the juice gives a better result. I really only do this if the flavors won't mix well. Usually I just vape through it.

The residual burnt taste you have may take a more drastic approach though and require a full cleaning.

Ok, thank you both for the advice. I am going to try both techniques. Of course I will have to get some menthol and unflavored juice.
Oh darn just when I had promised my wife I wouldn't buy any more ecig stuff, but this is for scientific research type stuff right? And while I am at it might as well throw in a few more flavors to justify the shipping costs right? I think we have a plan here lol.

blow out the atty between flavors... if you've blended too many, i just run hot water through them, blow them out and let them dry overnight. good to go in the morning. i don't believe in the dry burn because they aren't meant to run dry. i've killed more atties by meddling than i'd care to admit. i'm now a firm believer in the K.I.S.S. method.

I mix a little menthol with all my flavors of juice. It adds a little extra "kick" and don't take away from the flavoring. It's especially good with cinnamon red hot :) But, when you want to switch to a totally new flavor, the best thing to do is have extra atty's on hand and designate them to a certain "kind" of flavor. But, if you're on a budget, try blowing them out, add straight VG, vape on it a couple times, then blow it out again. Then, top up with your next flavor and take a few toots. There might be a slight "leftover" taste, but I find it doesn't last long. BTW, all I use is 510's. IMO they're the best bang for your buck!
