Hi all,

I have been vaping and smoke-free for over a year now, but am new to dripping so thought I would post in this forum. I love my ego-t battery, and wanted more of a throat hit so I decided to try a LR atty. I also love dripping so it is perfect....for about 2 hits.

It seems that each time I take a hit, the next one is a horrible burnt taste. Now I know about cleaning atty's and all that, but I didnt think that with dripping there would be that horrible taste every few hits! I do not have this problem with regular attys and love the full-flavor of dripping so I was wondering if there is a solution to the burnt flavor of the LRs.

I realize that because they burn so much hotter, it is harder to keep them wet, and for the few good hits I get, they seem to be great. But I can't stand not knowing each time I take a puff if I am going to gag and cough on the awful burnt taste or get a smooth hit. Please help and any suggestions or links to other threads would be great.

Dripping takes a while to find the method that best works for you, not all drippers drip the same. With 510's I would suggest slightly blowing out the gunk via the threaded section and once the gunk is gone, drip 4 drops and let if soak in for a few minutes since when you slightly blow out the gunk you'll get a burnt taste even though you dripped 4 drops. Once you let it sit for x amount of minutes, drip 3 more drops (it might leak and that's ok). Clean the threads and contact...while your cleaning the threaded area of the atty, clean the contact of the ego bat.

Now, vape and only drip 3 drops into the atty. Once you taste a slight change in flavor, add 3 more drops and continue. This might seem complicated and a lot of work but honestly it isn't. I hope this helps ya out.

EDIT: I will highly suggest that you invest in a Digital Multimeter to test the ohms rating for attys/li-ion bats, I use the Hongda DT-95B DMM and it simply works, palm sized, affordable and user friendly. Here is a link on how to use a DMM: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...oes-one-setup-use-multimeter.html#post3788186

The low resistance atomizer will burn the juice faster, so you do have to drip more often than with a standard atomizer. I do around four drops at a time, and it lasts me a good long while. The worst thing you can do by putting too much is flood the atomizer, which can be more easily fixed then if you don't put enough and burn up your atomizer. Two drops just doesn't seem like it would be enough. Also, don't forget to prime the atomizer if you just cleaned it.
