Dripping with a LR atty

I have been dipping with a 510 LR atty on my ego for a few days now. Love it, and has changed my whole vaping experience. However, I am really worried about burning these things out and a couple times I have gotten that burnt taste when I inhale.

Is there a general rule of how many drags I should take before dripping on the atty again, and keeping it wet enough where I will get my money's worth out of these things?

I dont know of any rule but I'm sure there is. I am to the point where I just know how long 3 drops last. So I dont usually deal with running low. I actually dont know what that burnt taste taste like...

It'll most likey be different for everyone, but I'll take a shot and say 4 to 6 hits before you need more?
3 drops gets me 4 good hits before it tapers off, but others report getting 6 hits.
