dripping atomizer?

Newbie, coming up on two months with no coffin nails! Using an Elite (cigeasy com) which is a KR808D-1 battery. Been using cartos and clearos. Been looking around for a dripping atomizer, which I "think" would be just a small clear tank with an atomizer only good for a couple of drops made specifically for sampling. Am I thinking the right thing? Been looking around and the clearos are the only thing I've found but seem just too big and have the top mounted atomizers. Thoughts? Source? Thanks!

Never seen an atomizer that was clear...

I use 510 threaded devices and have my own preferences of dripping atomizers, so I'll let the folks who use your threading jump in on what dripping atomizers they like.

If your battery is a manual you can use a 901 atty on it. The threads are the same but the airflow is different so a 901 will not trigger a automatic switch, but that is not a problem with a manual battery. This should be a good 901 atty, LR901 Low Resistance Atomizer 2.0 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper

Ah, a Cisco spec is a good choice.

Word of advice on a 901 atty, best to have a drip shield too as the side vent can leak pretty easily. A drip shield will really help.

Congrats on the two months of no stogies.

I used to really like bridgless atomizers with drip shields. You'd have to get a 808d-1 to 510 or 901 adapter though. Then you could get either a 306, 510 or 901 atomizer. They all vape a little differently and people prefer some to others. I believe the draw is different on them. If your battery isn't variable voltage you might want to get 1.5 ohm. If you get a higher ohm the vape will be a little weaker.

To continue the thread, just ordered a Joyetech 510 Atomizer, a double female adapter and a bunch of samples. When it arrives I'll give a report on how things are working for me for "posterity's sake" and other newbies!

New stuff came in today. Screwed the adapter (double female) onto the atomizer. Two drops of one of my new samples. Screwed onto my manual 808 battery. Good vapor, not much taste. Tried the rest of the seven samples. Unremarkable flavor which I'm blaming on my medications (frown). Decent taste when I tried my Desert Ship which has been my normal vape!

There's a selection of inexpensive dripping atomisers on Fasttech.com. I ve only just ordered one, as like you,I d like to try plenty of flavours without having half filled tanks littering the place. Their low prices suit me for experimenting different aspects of vaping.
