Just my :2c:. I have been using a Zenith V-2 for the last month or so. It's okay, easy to build, lots of air flow if that's what you want. I kind of like a tighter draw. Although it's adjustable down to zero flow, it is really hard to adjust on the low end. Flavor is good.

So, this afternoon I stopped by my local B&M shop and bought a Magma (clone), just build a single 1.5ohm coil, wicked with rayon, added a few drops of The Virus and the flavor really popped. This is really easy to build on, at least for a single coil, and looks like a dual coil will be easy also. Air flow is easy to adjust and much more to my liking.

My opinion may change after using it for awhile, but as of now :thumb: ...

**Tip: If you have an o-ring such as what comes on the kayfun, put it in the groove at the bottom of the threads on the Magma. Then slip on your airflow ring. The oring will keep the ring from moving everytime you take the cap off.

Nice tip, going to have to try it out.

Thanks, everyone, for your help :)

Saw a nice, black EHPro Magma clone that would look sweet on the black box. I think I'm going to get that.
Good choice there roxy EHPro are making some excellent 1:1 clones atm, i have an infinite magma and its very difficult to spot the difference, so yer look for EHPro or infinite clones.
Btw pics when u get it pls!:)

Infinites are very good, well made and the quality feel of them is exceptional.

Never used a Magma but word from all that have is it is amazing...BUT, think of the cheesecake like this: Fill your Reo bottle with cheesecake and squonk then add a few drops of the fruit into your RM2 and there you go. :thumb:

This is going to be my method. I might never get to the drops of fruit if the cheesecake blows me away. I am a cheesecake purist but I do love me some fruit. I will be ordering the cherry and raspberry and it will be one of my largest orders yet. I never order in the Mega(n) quantities cause I am afraid of letting that damn cc get that high and I don't usually have the cash budgeted for a 500ml. However, if the cheesecake hits for me, I might just throw budgetary caution to the winds!!!

Beautiful patina. Copper or brass?

I like it too FD! It's the "Pressed Brass JM22 tube" - I have the 18650, 18500, and 18350 tubes, all with GP Paps Switches and Top Caps... They are great low maintenance brass tubes - they patina really nice - low maintenance. Unlike the Naval Brass BCV Surfrider, I don't spend inordinate amounts of time cleaning these (with the notable exception of the threading)

Thanks Kent! I wasn't aware of the existence of these. A real looker!

I snagged up the pressed brass set of tubes with a switch and top-cap... but the JM switch isn't exactly great to be honest. It has a tendency to not fire sometimes, and it needs very regular cleaning to function at all (let-alone properly). The Paps v3 switches are butter, same threading (20x1), reverse threaded, locking ring... and with the GPin on the GP Paps Top cap it pretty much fits any battery I can slap it it despite the fact that the tube isn't the exact same length as the GP tubes they were intended to match.

Thanks for the tips, Kent. I'm way over my gadgetry allowance but will keep those mods in sight.

Best regards!

Jorge.

The 454 Big Block is AWESOME! Single dual or quad builds. It's got a cool outer ring that clamps down over the wires that makes things really easy. The whole outerring is the negative post so you can put the negative lead wherever you want. The tolerances are really tight and the machining is great. The AFC is smooth as butter and lets you go from wide open to barely anything. Best of all it's made in the USA and can be had for around $70.

Liking my CLT Infinite. Excellent little dripper, especially for the price. Bought it at a vape shop while I was visiting a friend in Kansas and have been pleasantly surprised.
Heard many good reports about the CLT, for the price has many great features, so good to see quality atties at decent affordable prices
