I was watching a rip tripper video in which he was reviewing a standard resistance 510 bridgeless atomizer from High Desert Vapes. I looked it up and that atty runs between 2.1-2.2 ohms. In the video he said he was vaping it at 6volts. Wouldn't that be running at like 15+ watts? Ie: Burn out the atty. Or burn the juice. Im a layman so i have no idea, but that just seemed really high. Im currently running a 2.5ohm hh.357 in my provari at 4.8 volts (delicious btw) and while i know i could go higher, wouldnt 6 for an extended period destroy it and risk my batteries? Someone please take me to school. :)

EDIT: Im in no way calling out riptripper or anything on that line. His videos are a major source for my vaping education, but this made me do a double take and i dont know enough to figure it out myself.

15+ watts will not burn out your atty or your batteries, that is well within the 'limits'. Some liquids might not hold up, but generally it will produce a warmer vape, more vapor, and more flavor especially on a HH357. Its just personal preference some like a warmer vape some like a cooler vape. I vape at 20 to almost 30 watts sometimes. Key is just to find where you like to be.

I'm wondering the same thing. I just tried dripping for the first time. Got a standard 510 atty at 2.2 ohms. I have to crank my spinner to at least 4.6 volts to get it to vape well. My protanks, which use 2.2 coils, I only have to turn it up between3.8 and 4.1. Weird!

Apples to oranges, 2 different methods of juice delivery and vaporizing. Even among bottom feed tanks you get varying results. On my Protanks (RIP) I could not go more than 4.3 without a burnt taste after a few pulls. On the same ohm with a KFL+, also bottom fed, I can go 6 all day and not get a burnt taste.

I have been using HH357's for over 18 months now..........so I consider myself an expert in their operation... Try the 3.0 ones with your Provari set @ 5.5--6.0 volts... Long Barrel versions are the best also....
