Interesting post Kevin!
Isaac is not that far from me and I am mainly a 306 user and tried to conivnce him to add some 306 sized cartos to his reputed cartomizer line but, he wouldn't go for it <g>. But, I saw the I06 and went for one but was dissapointed. I figured it was his new line that would replace his 306 line of atomizers but instead it was a 510 sized open bridged atty and, the drip that I bought from for it didn't fit well and, looking at the coil under 10x magnification, the turns in the coil were not as regular as I was used to seeing with my ciscos and so, it is still sitting there in a box, have never tried it.
But, reading your post, guess their 306 line and I06 line are separate and they have both 1.8 ohms and 1.5 ohms in the 306 line so, looks like a possibility for sure.
They sell a drip tip for it and it is probably acrylic. I got both arylic (transparent and multi-colored) and delrin (just black or white solid color) from cisco and, IMO the delrin drip tip works much better... maybe holding the heat better I dunno. Isaac's is probably acrylic but, for just $2 what the heck (I have lots of delrin drip tips from cisco but, unknown if they would fit Isaac's 306).
One problem I have had with the ciscos (I remove the wicks) is, they tend to drop in resistance. IMO this is why they give the warnings for using on ego, riva, etc. I had one that started at 1.8 and dropped down to 1.5. Yeah, if the resistance drops too low, it can danage your batteries. IMO, it might be due to the turns in the coil being right next to one another and possibily developing shorts. Not a big problem, though I keep on eye on them, but significant enough that I have stuck to the 1.8 ohm ciscos keeping away from the 1.5s. But, with Isaac's 306, I could probably give the 1.5 ohmer a try as well as a 1.8 ohm.
Hmmm... something I should think about... and scrap up $20 and give it a go.
Thanks again for the post!
