Dripping into a KR808d-01 refilled cartridge with a drip tip?

Heyas,

ok still new to to vaping and have read a lot of posts and watched some vids on youtube, but i cant figure out if i can use a drip tip on a KR808d-01 cartridge, and if i do use it on a cartridge is it safe to use it as a mouth piece after having dripped e-liquid into the cart, wont i get liquid when i inhale?

not sure if that question made sense or if it shows my ignorance.

Hi Gremlin and welcome. What kind of drip tip do you have?

If I understand correctly, you have a kr808D-1 cartomizer and want to replace the flat top cap with a drip tip? If so, it's perfectly OK to do so and it will, depending on what kind of drip tip you're using, actually improve the airflow through you cartomizer. Just don't try to refill your carto through your drip tip--you'll get juice into the center tube and that's not a good thing!

I like Delrin or acrylic drip tips.

No drip is needed on a KR808d-01 cartridge. The cartridge contains the atomizer, holds a small amount of e-liquid, and is designed so that it needs no drip tip. You may be able to add one, depending on whether it is 510 compatible. You can refill and clean your cartridge. A search of youtube will provide you with how this can be done. It's a fiddly process compared to most ego-style batteries and tank toppers.

i am waiting for my first 5 drip tips to arrive, the description said they were suitable for KR808d. i am waiting for a delrin, s/s silver dragon head, rose gold lotus and a couple of other really pretty ones

i read on a suppliers website that that acrylic drip tips can have a nasty taste to them at the start, and can also take on the flavour of the juice dripped on them, so i didnt order any, is that not true?

I'm not sure about acrylic drip tips and flavors--I have a couple of those and don't remember having any problems, but it's been a while.

Delrin and stainless steel are the best.
