I feel sorry for all you folks who have the un-productive time to sit around on the couch all day long, dripping to your heart's content.

I have a life, a family, a few "freelance jobs", and several hobbies outside of vaping. Spare time is a precious commodity in my day. When I DO find some spare time, I spend it formulating new DIY juices, or experimenting with coil builds, taking my granddaughter to the playground, or just catching up on the news, and my reading.

And I'm 48 and have slowed down a lot. When I was in my 20's, I was even MORE busy, and my schedule was even more hectic. ;-)

I know it's hard to believe for some people, but there IS life outside of vaping... o_O

That said, I have drippers--which I love when I'm at home, or at vape meets, but my ADV rigs are AMP tanks with Terminator TT attys, and KFL+s...

dunno where you get that impression.

i work 12-14 hour days more often than not... driving a big rig.
then i come home to an acre that needs mowing with an in ground pool that needs constant attention and a bunch of other chores to do for my wife and 3 young kids.
not to mention what i do for friends and family.
and i do my own house and vehicle maintenance most of the time, keep 7 or more computers running at my house alone at all times, do remote tech work and pc repairs on the side, etc., etc., etc. ... and side jobs... the list goes on.

i also have several time consuming, very technical hobbies.

heck, i just got an offer for a side job updating all the computers at the newseum. (there's hundreds anywhere from controlling 4d rides to a 90 foot hd wall of news)

i drip (actual drip) when i have the time with my hands free. i drip upside down (squonk) @ other times. i also sub-ohm 40+ mg/ml all day, every day and diy my own juice for myself and a half dozen others. (fruit and veggie juice and nic juice)

Dripping on the go isn't much of a problem if you have a fat drip tip. Just drip down the fat drip hole no biggy.

i'm on my way to buy a few more PHAT drip tips for just that reason. so far i have found the DaTouch Customs Muzzle Drip Tip to have the largest inside bore but i want that PLUS the large outside for ease of dripping (no mess on the cargo's). anyone that knows of these please feel free to reply.

cherry vapes cloud chaser... Drip Tips | E-cigarettes | 510 | 306 | Cherry Vape | Pawn | Cannon

largest bore you're going to get straight through on a 510 tip.

most "wide" drip tips have a bore at the base close to the tip on the left. cloud chaser pictured on the right...

Nice I bore mine out I have been using the Muffler large bore tips I also drill a 1/16 hole through the base, it helps expand that warm vapor and cools it off alittle before going into my mouth I mostly do it to keep the tip cool though

I work from home. All that time spent on the couch isn't un-productive for me at all.

Hey, imagine that.

Many people don't understand the history of dripping. Some do. This may help a bit for those that weren't around "back then":

Some of us remember the days when (while walking back and forth to school/class/work, up hill both ways, and without all the "fancy stuff" on the market today ;) ), we had atomizers and cartos....and that's it.

No RDA's. No tanks, unless you built one yourself (carto tank) and punched the holes in the carto yourself. Cartos gunked up and burnt filler, and atomizers...well, they didn't really work well for anything but dripping. There were a lot of "mods" to them. Blue foam. Pyramid Tea Bags, steel wool, mesh bonuts (look up bonuts), etc. But basically, you ended up dripping either onto some filler in a "cart" that went onto the atomizer and wicked down the bridge....or you put a drip tip on the dang thing and dripped.

It would last you 1-3 months, some got 6 or more months. You'd clean it and warm/dry burn it regularly. And you'd drip.

Sure, people used cartos instead. Still do. But dripping has a history. It's not a "free time only" thing. Nor is it "My free-time is bigger than your free-time" or the corollary "I'm too busy to drip". No, none of that stuff. It was by necessity if you used atomizers. And you get the best flavor that way too. No "filler taste". Easy to change flavors.

Now, they have coils with wicks rather than filler. lol. Wasn't always so.

A lot of us dripped. And like I said...I still miss it sometimes. I'm very tempted to dig out my RDA again, plug the leak, and drip. Still the most consistent and error-proof way to vape. But it's a bit more work to drip all the time and carry the bottle around. Most of us contend it's well worth it. Still others, get a REO. ;)

Sorry if I made the impression that I thought EVERYONE who was a dripper is some sort of slacker. I mean, it's not like the OP implied that in the thread title or anything...

I've been vaping for so long that I sometimes forget that for many people, e-liquid vapor has the unusual side-effect of making EVERY negative comment about vaping be taken as a personal attack, not to mention the equally unusual side-effect of the complete disappearance of any ability to detect sarcasm...

You seem to be making a lot of disparaging assumptions on people's lives here. I have a full-time job, I take evening classes three nights a week and on Saturdays, I travel all the time for work, and I'm at least 2h on my bike every day when I'm in town. Oh, and I have a family too, and a house to finish. And you know what? When I have some free time - which isn't that often, I like to slouch around and be lazy. Since dripping requires almost no maintenance, it fits my busy life better and lets me enjoy my bumming around sessions more. Maybe I should have said "dripping is for people who like to optimize their time"?

Most people lead a rich and full life too. You're not special. Get over yourself.

What who says I cant drip and drive. stop signs get two drops down the drip tip, red lights get drip tip off and 6 drips. Express way is easy peezy. Still safer than the kid texting or a woman putting on make up.

Depends on how you drive. I practise eco-driving and it requires so much attention that I can't even drive with the radio on. Even squonking is almost too much distraction for me. I only vape on the freeway at stabilized speed because of that.

The thread title is tongue-in-cheek, your post didn't come off the same way. That's how I saw it at least. No worries, life's too short to get worked up over anonymous messages :)

The only big thing I have against dripping (straight dripping that is) is, you can't vape and drive. But that's what squonkers are for. Other than that, once manipulating the bottle and getting a feel for how much to juice to drip in become automatic, there's no turning back. Dripping only has advantages: cheap, ultra-simple, reliable, no refill, no maintenance, and no missus to tell you the coffee table is a mess :)

And therein, lies the utter beauty and simplicity of a nice mechanical bottom feeder. Everything is on-board.

Very little equipment other than batteries, charger, mod and juice bottle to fill, and a simple atty for the top.
