I use one of these (link):

I have the small one (15 ML). It has a pump bottle inside:

Take the cap off the pump bottle, and put a couple of plastic washers on the stem or cut about 1/8" off of it, so it only puts out a couple of drops per pump:

Since it has a protruding nozzle, you can put it in your drip tip by feel, press, done. Takes about 2 or 3 seconds. I can do it while driving, without ever taking my eyes off the road, and keep one hand on the wheel. It's pretty darned handy, and I don't go anywhere without it.

Hawaii! Yay haha
quasimod: I saw your post about that bottle and since then I've been torturing myself about ordering it, so it's probably going to be the next thing I get! I've scoured the web looking for 'single drop dispensers' and there's nothing really. Until someone invents it for e-cig drippers, that JC pump is the way to go!

I have been a dripper for over a year. Never liked the cartridge filler. But I still like my little automatic Evo to stick in my pocket when I am out and about and find that to be a very hard model to drip, so I'm stuck with filler on that one-I tried the 'dipping' thing with it and find it way too messy

Something I wrote about tonight, and I think you can only really do it by direct dripping, I call it chain-dripping, for lack of a better term - maybe someone can coin another one?

Here's the thread I made. Basically I drip a flavor once or twice, then I drip another flavor, next time I drip it's another.... never cleaning the atty. The flavors keep mixing, and it's a neat experience.

Just one more plus for direct dripping!

Dripping just simplifies. It definitely eliminates those moments when the filler methods aren't working correctly.
I do carry a couple silicone plug carts with me for those moments that it's impossible to drip but I've gotten so good at dripping that they are rarely use---will be eliminated as soon as I get a juice box.

It's called lazy dripping, I are a lazy dripping conisewer (sic). You don't kill the attys paying em too much, you can also control the change of pace by what flavor you follow the previous with. My personal favorite is following strawberry cheesecake with vanella, leading to a subtle mint choc. Yummy

I came around to dripping about 2-3 months into vaping and haven't filled a cart since. Maybe it's a matter of what I'm paying attention to (or not paying attention to), but when I first showed up on ECF in January, the forum seemed riddled with threads on cart mods. I'm not seeing nearly as much of that in the last couple mos. I wonder if that's the result of those of us frustrated with carts abandoning them and switching either to dripping or to cartos.

I'm sure that dripping is better for flavors and/or vape production. For me though I just can't imagine having constantly (stop what I'm doing) to drip throughout the day. Convenience is a major reason I avoid dripping. I guess if I had more free time on my hands I would try it out. Who knows maybe I'll take up the act on rainy weekend days.

It's not that much more time consuming than lighting up, something i always seemed to be able to find time for.

Use your rainy days to spend 4 hours fighting with some cart mod, or refilling cartos. Drip when you don't have the time or patience to spend on it.

once you have used the AFS you will wonder why you ever put up with the hassle of dripping.

Not everyone feels that way about the AFS.
