Does this hurt the atomizer. Sometimes I am in a hurry and don't wait for it to cool down. I have had a few atomizers go bad lately and was just wondering it this was the cause.
i don't let it cool down or anything i see vapor sometimes as i drip into the atty. ive not had one pop on me at all. im using 510s so that might be different for you
I rarely drip, but when I do, I never let ot cool. I might, though, if I'd ever remove the bridge and would therefore drip fairly cold liquid onto a very hot coil.
I drip on a bridgeless 510 atty. I sometimes worry about the fact that the coil is still hot when I drip, but so far, no problems. I sometimes blow on it to cool it a bit before dripping again. I'm using 3.7 Volts, but I think it would be more of a problem at higher voltages.
I too drip on a hot atty, then let it sit for a minute or two, and then start back up. I have never had an issue, and the vapor and hit is very consistent for me this way.
I have been dripping on hot atomizers for over a year and in my opinion the atomizer lasts longer then using cartridges. It keeps the coil cooler and extends the lifespan of the atomizer from my experience.
