So I received my vtube from Apollo couple days ago, been dripping directly on the atty, 3 drops till a flavor reduction then repeat. However the unit still seems to leak. There may be some user error here I am by no means an expert. It seems to leak into the connection port, and sometimes ill notice my hands being a little greasy from escaped juice. Is this a common problem with these units? am I perhaps doing something wrong im not aware of? Lastly and possibly most importantly can liquid leaking into the connection port damage the unit in any way? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That_Dude,welcome to ECF. Great user name, simple, yet to the point. I like it. Ok dripping has a learning curve to it. There is a fine line between too much and too little juice. You will find the sweet spot eventually, and it is IMO, its the best way to vape. There is nothing better than your fav juice on a proper atty, at the right voltage. What type of atty are you using?

I may have been under the influence of several beers when I signed up but thank you for the kind words =)
Its the 3.0 ohm high resistance 510 atomizer that comes with the vtube kit. I order a few packs of the xl cartomizers with the kit not knowing how much I would prefer dripping. There are no leakage issues with the cartos tho, but I see to have to draw much longer to get the same Vapor/TH. As for my last question, do you know if juice on the connection is bad for the unit? I dont wanna break the thing if I can help it. =) Thanks again.

I did get a drip tip with it as well, but its not as fancy as the ones you linked. Thanks for the additional advice. =)

That's not a drip tip...it's a drip shield wich will make dripping leak free no matter how much you overdrip. You will also need a 510 to 510 adapter to use one with a 510 atty. Imo if you like dripping a drip shield is a must have.

Yes juice getting inside your PV can kill it. Most have sealed connections but anythings possible. A drip shield as mentioned above will help with that. Just make sure to see weather or not you need to add an extension to allow the drip shields o rings to line up where they need to be in order to prevent juice from getting to the PV. You will see what I mean when you get one.

You will need a extension to use the drip sheild with a vtube, or with almost any 510 connection.
Drip sheilds were originally designed for 901's which have a small air hole in the side of the tube next to the coil and arrested prone to leakage
But as said before, if you drip, a drip sheild is a most as almost all 510 atty's leak
Also Welcome to ECF!!!!!!
