I started out as a dripper, just recently tried cartos, and while attys cost more you can get more use out of them. I have been using the same atty for a month now and it is still working just like it was the day I got it. I am using much more juice with the cartos. a full 10mls in just a week.

I have not tried pre filled cartos. I got a five pack of empty cartos from madvapes and one has been used for about a week and now it is clogged, maybe? I have used 3 of the 5 and plan on cleaning them soon.

based off that I think that it is cheaper, for me, to drip but with all things e-cigs, YMMV.

Well it's a neat trick if you can do it and I admire you could roll analogues while driving. I would have to take my eyes off the road to make sure I dripped right on the atty. I do not like to drip through the drip tip because sometimes, depending of the juice, it doesn't get directly on the atty. If you have any tricks let me know. BTW I just got a 3.5ml Ultra clearomizer from Digitalciggz and the vapor is fantastic. A very fine alternative to dripping and driving. No plastic taste either!

I'm not sure if its already been said, but you can refill your V4L cartos as well. I refill both the WOW and Premium carts and after a month have only had one that needs to be cleaned (or thrown out). I vape/refill/swap between 2-3 cartos at a time to help extend the life on them.

One other note, I also have a tendency to drip into the filler when its about halfway dry. Keeping it constantly wet probably helps avoid burning it up.

Are you really saving that much money by dripping with E Juice?

I drip and if I am saving money by dripping, it wouldn't amount to much more than a buck a month (if that). Dripping isn't for everyone. Some people love it, others look at it as a hassle. I like the flavor. It is fresh and clean and strong each time I pick up my PV.

I am forced to use tanks / cartomizers when I'm on the road. I find them tasteless, stale, sometimes dry, sometimes they gurgle, sometimes I have to wait between puffs so the juice can reach the atty.

With dripping, I drop 2 or 3 drops onto my atty and I have instant satisfaction. That is why we have so many choices in equipment, atomizers, cartridges, cartomizers, pv's and liquid. Each of us has our favorites.

Happy Vaping,
Paula

Makes sense. I was wondering why everybody is talking about few ml a day, while I use less than 1ml a day with my cheap analog style PV. Maybe I should cancel my echo kit. I am hoping vaping would still be far cheaper than analog.

I can guarantee you won't save money on liquids if you switch from dripping to dual coil.
Dual coil is very thirsty.

Direct dripping analog sized PVs was a much cheaper hobby than big batts and cartomizers.

Once you get a mod the small PV becomes unsatisfying.

I drip and I spend about 30$/month on flavors.(I buy form a variety of companies, often getting sample packs) I am not a chain vaper and I like a selection of about half a dozen flavors at any given time. Some months I pay an additional 10$ for accessories like attys or clearomizers. Compare this to a pack-a-day smoker who spends at least 42$ to 45$ a week on Marlboro. (here in Vegas) In NYC that could get up to $100/week in NYC.

It will still be cheaper if you don't get out of control buying mods.

The nic prices are the cheapest in history and future (I have crystal ball).

Replacing small PV w/ a mod reminds me of going from kissing to something else.
Kissing was great but hard to go back to just kissing.
