I have been dipping a Joye 306 I got from a raffle prize at the Florida vapers meet, It seems like about 5 per drop for me.

Disclaimer: Dipping is the action of dipping an atomizer with an exposed bridge into a bottle of juice, many also use contact lens cases and such for the procedure. BUT I believe it would be nearly the same amount of juice wicking into the exposed atomizer.

One of the things I'm using is a LR306 atty from nhaler...I drip about 4 or 5 drops and get 10 puffs (the LR things do use juice). I've also used regular 510 attys and with 3 to 4 drops get about 12-15 puffs.

If you drip 3-4 drops on a standard 510 atty, you will flood it most of the time.

I have an Ego and have not used a standard atty on it ever. I use the LR attys when I can drip and cartomizers when I can't. Cartomizers are really convenient as they hold a lot of juice but it's really hard to get a good drag off of them for me. The LR atty on the other hand works really well and only need about a 2 second drag for a good hit. I normally get about 10 drags for about 3 drops on the LR atty.

I have an eGo too, got it and quit smoking analogs within 1 minute of trying it for the first time. Love my eGo but after 2 days of having to refill those little cartridges all the time I got disgusted, they were only lasting me 45 mins max, then had to refill.

The I saw the new BIG cartomizers for the eGo and I immediately ordered some of those. They arrived 2 days ago and I have been in vaping heaven ever since. They hold 2.5 ml and even though I vape all the time, just one of those cartomizers lasted me 24 hours!

These new cartomizers have saved my life and no more messing around with refilling those tiny carts.

They also came out with the new large cartridges for the eGo too, they say those hold 2 ml and they refill just like a regular eGo cartridge, they have the polyfil etc .. but you need a bigger atomizer for those and I already have 5 extra atomizers so I dont want to buy any of those yet, plus I am having too good a time with these new cartomizers.

These new 2.5 ml are terrific, I ordered from someone who also stocks the syringe you need to refill it. They are disposable and they say you can only refill them 3-4 times .. but for me this is fantastic!

check out cartomizers, they hold between 20 and 30 drops, good for a few hours of unimpeded vaping. In addition, they don't leak like carts do.

My eGo cartomizer holds 15 drops. In addition, 4 out of 5 flooded and leaked until I used the teryn spin and condom method. Overall, I've found 510 carto's to be a waste of money. Might try the MEGA's though. Or perhaps an adapter.

I'm glad you are having such a good experience with them. I hope they work well for me also.

I tried the LR atomizer, and it is so hot it tastes like it burns the liquid, rather than vaporizing it

Yeah...I have the same experience. Bought Tornado and LR atomizer...it really burns the liquid and taste is terrible. I'm using normal atomizers, Mega atomizers and 510 / Tornado cartomizers instead. I found LR atomizer is pretty much useless with Tornado.

I used an LR carto, and it VAPED amazing!!! However, it wasn't worth it.
Didn't try dripping. I have noticed with LR atty's the taste is different.

LR atty's are higher voltage vaping. I know my tasty vapor e-juice tasted horrible with LR but fantastic with standard. cignot juice mixed with totally wicked (vanilla coffee blend. Totally wicked Coffee mixed with cignot 100% VG vanilla) tastes fantastic with LR's and somewhat bland with regular ones..
so it's advisable to try High Voltage e-juice.

I'm not having any trouble with a LR carto on an eGo/Tornado...it does get hot fast so I switch to another device.

Sometimes, I think the variance has to do with the juice. I know I like some juices better on different attys.

You are 100% correct on the variance issue. I wish I would have read up a little more on carto's before going gung-ho. I thought that all I had to do on a refill was apply drops. However I got a mouthfull of juice, flooded the atty, etc :(

Once I applied the condom method to refill, then the teryn spin I never had flooding again. Unfortunately for me, the eGo LR Carto proved to not last as long. I've read so many posts that carto's hold 20+ drops, and realized that the 510 carto holds 15. I can squeeze 12 into a cart using a blue dart mod on my cart.

I really want to try a mega cartomizer, or perhaps a mega atty / mega cart. But an LR mega configuration would be PRIMO.

Hey JD.

Dripping is the way to go when you're not on the road...with your std atty on your eGo, 2 drops is the magic number, 3 sometimes floods if you still have some juice in there. I get about 5 very good puffs and then it starts to wane. Dripping gives you the most flavor and vapor.

After about an hour of dripping, the process becomes second nature and you just go on cruise control...most economical way of vaping too, only attys and juice, and no wasted juice! Get a drip tip so you don't need to remove/replace an empty cart every time you drip.

Until you do, you can make a credible drip tip: get an empty round cart, insert a slightly bent tip of a paper clip into the hole and pull it out, you'll see another piece right under it with a hole, pull that one out too...they pop out very easily (carts only look like one piece). With a 5/16" drill bit, drill out the remaining bottom partition (a sharp bit and pliers make it simple). I made four of these that I keep attached to different flavored atties, and my drip tip I use for my main vape of the day.

btw, did you have trouble getting used to the "atty" abbreviation like I did?

I ordered a few of those too. Was it from GoodProphets.com? They were the only ones I found who had the refill tool you mentioned.

I was originally going to order from Good Prophets but then I heard about a supplier in the Houston area (in Katy). I ordered my mega cartomizers from them because they had the refill syringe too.

Since I live in the Houston area too I knew I'd get my package right away, which I did. Since I live in Texas I knew I'd have to pay the Texas sales tax but I didnt care, I just wanted to try the new mega carto's ASAP.

I love the syringe I got from them too, have refilled twice now with it and it works great. They also have a phone number on their website and an address, dont know if they have an actual storefront but perhaps they do. Their website is electroniccigarettesofhouston

I love dripping at my computer. (i'm sure that doesn't sound right to non-vapers). Anyway, I use the NJOY Pro, the Modern Vapor Sidesho, the Health e-cig, and the vapor 9 nebula. They all do the trick, even though some more "name brand" juice suppliers say not to, it works for me on each model with different results.
The NJOY seems insatiable, I can drip 2-4 drops and go on vaping for what seems a ridiculous amount of time without problems. The Modern Vapor with the same amount will compete with the NJOY but I find I'm reloading within the hour. The Health e-cig (cheapest price/quality but best performance all around) will pull me through about an hour. Just posting my 2 drops worth.

Aloha VM!

What brand of cartos did you use? Many members like me have great results with the Boge (some like the SLB's). Cost me 1.79 each (less if you shop). I easily get 28-29 drops in without the Taryn spin (waste of time imo), takes about a minute to load with the condom method, couple hard blows thru the mouthpiece into a tissue to clear the atomizer airway, get 2-3 hours of heavy vaping w/ no juice in my mouth. Follow the cardinal rules of carto use and they perform wonderfully (and I'm a die-hard dripper).

Thought of the megas until I read some negatives from members, watched the video and saw the amount of vapor they produced vs. my Boge's, the bulkiness, and they're way overpriced imo. They also waste a lot of juice when you retire them because of the amount of filler used, and you can't empty them with the Reverse Taryn spin (the only time I use the spin).

Try the Boge's (they're cheap), or wait for the new generation of cartos (C-E2) without filler material (member has it on order, can't wait for his review).

VM, I hope you find this info helpful

I'll have to take note of them for the future. I live in San Antonio, so I'm sure shipping would be quick for me also. I might even pay them a visit if I'm in Houston.
