Hey there! Ok so I got my big girl panties on and switched from a Kr808 with cartomizers. We got the big fun pack from The Plume Room (love it!) and after playing with all the stuff I am frustrated! Clearomizers-Ce2: loved at first fill, then when to refill and hated fiddly messiness and couldn't get the same vape I got the first fill. DCT- hated that one bc the vape was not great and the darn carto kept sliding in it so I couldn't unscrew it without a wrestling match! It ended up the only thing I loved was dripping- only problem is dripping full-time is not practical for me. What is my other option besides putting a cart on the atty when I can't drip? I had initially wanted to get away from carts. Advice from vets?

Ahh the dilemma many of us face, and one I still face after a month of vaping.

Here's my personal experience:

Ego tank + Atomizer: Quiet average overall...only problem was leaking if you draw too hard and doesnt work with high VG stuff.
DCT Tank: tight draw, Weak vape, a little awkward to fill. However it gave a good flavor, just bad experience.
Cartomizers (diff brands): All sucked, avoid.
Bottom Feed clearos (CE3, and I guess CE2): Excellent overall. They do lose quality after refills, and they give the occasional dry hit...Good with high VG juices that are just slightly diluted. I'd stick to them if not for their occasional dry hits.
Clearos (T2 and stardust): Stardust was absolute fail. T2 is was my most convenient experience, though it does mute flavor, and only the first half of each fill is good...as the juice gets lower so does it's quality and flavor.
Clearo (vivi nova): Def the best clearo and worth the price. It does have the muted flavor issue like the T2, but at a much slower pace (Juice is good for about 80% of a tank instead of 50%).
Dripping attys 510 (generic brands): Best throat hit, best vapor, flavor was average. They are inconvenient to use when you're not home and they leak if you overfill...but on the other hand, their inconvenience helps me not chain vape.
HH. 357 Dripping atty: best thing I have tried so far, is it worth the price? not sure yet since I only had it for a couple of days, but best everything. It still leaks like all dripping attys I've tried, and it "spits" a lot as well which is my no1 frustration with it.

Overall, since you're asking for somehting more convenient than dripping, and the HH might be too pricey for you (and it's just an atty that still needs a drip tip and possibly a drip shield, and it could live for months, or die within a few days)...I'd say the vivinova. I'd give both of them a tie since each has it' advantages. However I would recommend the vivi nova mini..it's harder to find and I have not tried it but for all I know it functions the same, and doesnt look as awkward as the huge regular vivi nova. The Plume room has a good price on the vivinova (I got a 3 from there at $10 each with a coupon, opposed to their average of $15)...sadly they do not offer the mini yet.
