My first mod to the round cart (510) was to saw off most of the tip that is inserted into the atomizer. This prevents the narrow airway from extending down close to the metal mesh and keeps juice from being sucked up into the outer chamber.

No more juice in the mouth, no more juice in the resivoir just below the mouthpiece.

Someone pointed out that with the round carts, the flat circle at the mouthpiece can be popped off. Below this is another flat circle with a hole in the center... that can also be popped out. And below that you can see the rectangle shape that holds the fiber.

I held the cart with a pair of pliers and drilled the rectangle shaped plastic out completely, and cleaned it up with a small file. Now I've got what is essentially a plastic tube I can drip into.

This mod may have been mentioned before but I thought I would post it since it has made dripping even easier for me.

Have you noticed any change (good or bad) in Flavor, TH or qty of Vapor?

Yep. Flavor is better, because there's nothing in there but juice. Once you learn to do it right, you can adjust the number and frequency of the drips, and improve your TH and vapor-production, as well.

The key is to pay attention to subtle nuances in how your vape tastes, how much vapor is being produced, how hot the atomizer is, etc. That will alert you to how much juice it needs or doesn't need. For example, right before your atomizer goes dry, it will produce more vapor and less flavor. In the next couple of vapes, you will get a burnt flavor. Time to give it a drop, or maybe two. You'll learn to avoid the burnt taste by recognizing those signs.

Gurgling noise with less vapor? Too much juice.

Gurgling/no vapor? Flooded, or battery is dead. Blow out the attie, if that doesn't work, change the battery.

Things like that.

DO NOT drip into an atomizer that is very hot, because thermal shock can break that thin little piece of nichrome wire that heats the juice.

In the cart there 2 different round plastic stoppers with a tiny hole in both of them. I pop out both of these and drip into the cart which goes directly into the atomizer. This prevents me from having to take the cart of everytime I would drip. I hardly ever get liquid in my mouth. Is this what you are describing.

No, I think he's describing the bridge in the atomizer (the little part that sticks up inside the atomizer). What you are talking about is the part the OP (Original Poster) and I removed, so the drops can fall directly onto the bridge. The part you are describing is the bottom of the liquid reservoir inside the cartridge.

The only change is that the draw comes in without that tiny hole. Makes it feel more like an analog filter draw, kinda. Technically, it should make the unit slightly easier to draw through. No change in flavor, etc. I've been a little worried that the open tip would cause juice inside to dry, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything.
