I thought I'd share my new mod I just made for my eGo. First I did quasimds mouthpiece mod he shared on his dripping for Noobs thread. I then used ideas from the video linked below to shave down my original plastic mouthpiece and create the metal mouthpiece out of a spare atty. I couldn't get the bottom end screw off so I had to hack saw it off. I then cut a bit of the plastic mouthpiece off and slide it into the metal mouthpiece. Simple yet I think looks and feels better.

I think my first attempt was a partial failure, I shaved part of the plastic mouthpiece that goes into the atty, it isn't as tight as the original. Before I use to be able to unscrew the atty using the mouthpiece now I can't. I think on my next attempt I'll tape the part of the mouthpiece that goes into the atty so I know where to stop shaving.

A couple things I've figured out that might make this mod easier. First using rough and then finer sandpaper seems to work well to thin out the mouthpiece instead of using a knife. Also I think the mouthpiece needs to be tight in the metal otherwise the metal cover will side right off when you're taking it off the atty. I found if I couldn't get the plastic mouthpiece to go fully in, I just connected it to an atty and tapped on the metal cover with a hammer, it created a nice tight fit.

Some tips if you're going to sand the finish off, tape the middle section so you don't scuff up the button. To connect the cone to the drill to sand, you can use a sharpie sized marker, it'll fit nice a tight so the cone doesn't move when the drill is turning. And to connect the battery to the drill I just connected an atty to it.

The more I use it and look at it the more I like it:)

I made a modification to the Hollow cartridge mod(Gutted cartridge Mod) or whatever it's called, some might like it.

I tried this before but the mouthpiece came out a bit unstable when in the atty. This time I cut the bottom flat sections off with an exacto knife instead of the entire bottom section, I left a mm or a bit less on each side so the remaining side pieces weren't flimsy. I then used an exacto knife to cut away the slits. I tried using a drill like before but I kept messing it up, I'm sure it can be done easily, I just couldn't do it. I then taped a piece of sandpaper to a drill bit, rolled it around, and then sanded the inside of the mouthpiece. Now the inside is completely hollow, and it's stable when it's on the atty. And like always, I cut a couple of mm off the bottom prior to doing this.

A couple of things I should note, I earlier said if you can't get the mouthpiece to go into the metal cover to place it on a atty and tap it in, be very gentle when doing this otherwise the plastic lip will dig into the atty, it might be better to find another way or just do it like the video shows.

And when using an exacto knife please be careful, especially when cutting off the plastic slits, it can be a bit difficult and dangerous.
