So I have 510 and I have been using carts with a the blue fill plug, so far it has been working well but any time I have mentioned that I have been using that method I am either told to use the dripping method or use cartos. I have tried the dripping method and it isn't bad but it seems to get very messy and easy to over drip. So I was wondering if I could get inputs from both sides, cartos vs dripping.

Cartomizers hold MUCH more liquid than a cart, and give a VERY consistent vape. I personally have never had one leak on me like carts do. PLUS the atty is built in, so no cleaning or replacing attys. When they get icky, or gummed up, or burning tasting, just throw them away, they cost between 1.35 and 2.00 each.

Cartomizers can also EASILY be refilled with zero to little mess, and you can carry a cpl in your pocket, when you go out, so you don't have to carry bottles.

NOW, I will allow a "DRIPPER" take the floor.

I dunno, I got so frustrated with carts, cartomizers, cart mods.... Now I simply drip with my drip tip, and I never have a flooding problem. Just 2-3 drops, and puff away until I get a tiny burnt taste... then 2-3 more drops... And I've gotten pretty good, so my drops always hit the mark. No muss, no fuss.

I just got my 510 in about an hour ago, and I've been dripping for the past few days. I do have to say that the 510 is very easy to drip with, especially if you get a drip tip. I bought a stainless steel t-tip from super t manufacturing, and it's a great drip tip which feels like great quality.

As far as over-dripping, I started a new atomizer with 4 drops, then I've been dripping 2 drops whenever I notice I'm getting less vapor. It works well, and I haven't had any flooding issues so far.

I hate carts... for me, they are messy, high maintenance and forget about putting an ecig with a cart in my pocket.

Cartomizers are pretty good... still, I tended to overfill them and kill them as well.

As for dripping... I find it very easy, clean and economical. I waste less juice dripping. I get a better hit and I think it's less expensive that cartomizers.

I doubt I'll ever go back to using cartomizers... in fact, just blew the rest of the ones I had out in the classifieds.

Once I started dripping I never went back.

I think if you vape A LOT, then dripping is the way to go...

So now I am still torn but at least more educated on both sides of the argument, but to be honest I am leaning more towards cartos at this point they just seem easier, the whole have a few filled cartos and 2 batts and I am set.

Pretty much I do the same thing refill 5-6 different flavor cartos at night in the morning I can vape anything I feel like not having to worry about taking a bottle with me to work or get juice everywhere in my pocket. Cartos are probably the way of the future in E-cigs imo.

Ive also started direct dripping (wickless bridgeless atty that wouldnt wick) still learning bought a plastic drip tip and I like it flavors are more pronounced then with cartomizers for sure and the vapor is on par with if not better then cartridges.

Just my 2 cents

I started with KR808D-1 cartos from V4L and they convinced me that I really wanted to vape instead of smoke. That said, I have also tried Boge and SLB 510 cartos, Joye 510 attys/carts, 901 atty/carts, and dripping. Here is my take on what I have tried.

The KR cartos are the most consistent regarding vapor production from beginning to end of the carto. Vapor production is moderate, but flavor and th are ok.

510 cartos, which I really wanted to like, have not produced consistent vapor from first puff to near dry (I am careful about how far I go). Vapor production is slightly less than the KRs, flavor is ok, th is light. I actually think I like the SLB cartos slightly better than the Boge for overall vapor and flavor.

The 510 atty/carts definitely produce more vapor, better flavor, and th to me. but...wicking is inconsistent whether with the original fill, the Highping method, or the blue foam mod. I'll grant however, that I am just beginning to "experiment" with each and tweak them for better results. Nonetheless, I cannot get as many "hits" as I would prefer before experiencing dryness of the atty. A short wait, and vapor production returns. Vapor remains more consistent from start to finish of the cart.

Dripping is not especially convenient (particularly considering that I do not have a drip tip yet), but flavor/th/vapor are overall head and shoulders above any of the others imho. However, I do tend to flood the atty from time to time, adding the inconvenience of having to blow it out before continuing.

Cartomizers are simply far above everything else in overall convenience to me, but I do not find it worth the loss in flavor/vapor/th, unless the circumstances really make atty/carts or dripping unfeasable.

And way, that's just my two cents, ymmv.

But I sure do pefer vaping over smoking, no matter what!
