Good job on vid! Nice and descriptive job for explaining dripping and tanks for those new to them.

Out of curiosity, what brand of 306 were you using? I also tend to remove my tips when I drip and that's become natural to me. For my 306s I use Cherry Vapes "the Universal" with them so I can use 510 drip tips, which are easier and less messy to remove then a 306 dt. The Universal also works well with a drip shield. IMO, empire mods drip shields are one of the best advances for drippers.

I went to a local "vape Meet" last month and all I had at the time was my Vivi Nova. The host of the meet, Bria Cryer (extremely nice lady) gave me one and said that I HAD to have an atty so I could try all the different juices that vendors were offering. She handed it to me and I just started using...no clue what type or brand =/ sorry

I have researched the drip shields and I plan to get one soon!

No worries. It looked like a pretty well performing 306. You'll also want to eventually try out 510 and 901 atties too. Drip shields work exactly as described, takes care of the issue of any leaking or worries of over dripping. If you get your drip shield from empire mods they also sell well performing bridge-less atties.

I was told the main reason to use a drip tip, was to avoid leakage...know I know I have only been dripping for a few weeks, but I have never had any leakage. I dunno if I am just lucky, or have never over filled my atty.

Drip tips normally don't have anything to do with leaking. The 306 you're using with the 306 drip tip is quite a different atty then the more common atties like the 510 and 901 as far as the drip tip playing a bigger role. 306s tend to be a little less leak prone, unless your me that tends to cause leakage from any and all atties. You're doing a good job if leaking isn't an issue and you're getting good results. Drip shields aren't important if you're doing a good job not making a mess, but they do look cool!

Cherry Vape Ming dream tips rock................... Cost more but I love em.

Is there anything about them besides how they look that causes you to like them more then other vase shaped drip tips? Lately I've been liking the smallish ceramic vase style tips that are available for a few bucks. They look nice and I like the feel of ceramic, plus the shape makes for easy and quick removal, a must for me since I remove to drip. A little bit wobbly but that isn't an issue for me.

lol sorry i meant drip SHIELD...

Lol yeah you were told right then, mainly for making your atty leak proof. A secondary use would be to tighten up your draw, tho the empiremods ones I have only tighten it up just a little. Which I like since I don't care for a hard draw.
