Just got a Chuck with a 901 fitting and LOVING IT completely!

Was wondering if anyone had any tips for when the atty squirts? Dripping with a plain old 901 would always cause excess liquid to squirt out and leak out at all times. No biggie, I always wiped it on my jeans.

Can't do that so easily with Chuck. Any brilliant ideas? I just hate using cartridges and messy cotton fillings but it seems with dripping I am getting a lot of waste. And I do rotate attys each day, blowing out yesterday's atty & allowing it to drip down for tommorow's use

So far I've been keeping a thin rag handy to wipe up the mess before it fills up like a resevoir but I was hoping for fellow Chuck owners to chime in on their dripping habits & any nifty ideas.

PS--I only do 2 drops so I couldn't be overdoing it, right?

One question is when you say squirt do you mean that it shoots out of the atty? Are you lipping directly on the atty with no mouth piece what so ever? I know this may sound like funny questions if the answer is NO to all of the questions hehehe

But here is the reason I ask... I noticed while dripping on a 901 (not so much with the 510, and definately not with the 801) and take a drag or activate the atty with out a mouth piece on you get squirt, spit (whetever you wanna call it) from the atty

the solution is(in case you didn't know and you answered yes to my questions) drip and use a dummy cart meaning a cart with out filling.

EDIT: crashjeep had a valid tip as well

are you laughing at my humorous way of writing?
or that you think the entire comment is BS?

Am I the only one that experience juice popping out of the 901 atties while dripping with out the mouth piece?

I know I am not imagining it and that is what I thought may be the OP's case since she didn't seem to be flooding it.

please clarify (I don't mind either way,,, I have been the .... b4)

and this can't be a "CHUCK" thing since I am sure you don't need to own one to know the workings of a 901 atty

Been busy....to answer those questions, no this isn't a "chuck problem" When I used a 901 with a regular old 901 auto battery, liquid would squirt out of the air hole after I dripped. It would happen when I placed the empty cartridge onto the atty and the force of it would cause juice to shoot out with some decent distance. (and leak out very slowly over time--just swipe on my work jeans and a-ok)

Same thing would happen when I was using a 901 pass thru attatched to a Kensington Battery. I was pretty sure it was just a part of dripping & not really bothersome but when I got my Chuck (hurray!) I was surprised by the amount of liquid that leaked out over a tiny bit of time--though this happened with my reg 901's. My work area is slimy with juice where I'd set down my 901.

I wasn't totally sure if I was doing something wrong because I never really read up on dripping, I just started doing it because I hated messing with refilling carts. I knew generally what it meant to drip but with anything e-cig, I usually end up screwing up something somewhere.

Oh, I don't tailpipe--I think that's what most call it. Inhaling from the atty with no mouth piece? Tried it and hated it!

And btw--I really love this Chuck. I had gotten down to 3 to 5 cigarettes per day; down from 2 to 3 PACKS per day. Some issues came up and got into that I-don't-care mode; started smoking full time but using my Kensington at work still. This Chuck is so much more easy that running a pass thru cord up my shirt and letting the atty dangle around my neck--and what a kick!!
Think it might be easier to quit again this time! (It happened once before, I ran out of supplies, began smoking, nearly stopped smoking as soon as my supplies came in)

Jeff has a wonderful product here and the price is unbeatable. I'd still recommend lighter weight models for starting out for that cigarette likeness, but I believe I am totally sold on this little gadget.

I'd love to write a full review with comparisons to other things I've tried----maybe around the holidays when I get a day off. :D
