I'll throw it out to start I am a noob but diving head first into vaping. I spend around 4-5 hours cumulative thought my days on ecf etc researching and learning as much as possible.

That being said I have heard a ton about dripping. I have searched for a while this morning and can't find much info. Can someone please help with either a link/video of the basics of it, how to do it and what a good starter setup to begin would be!?!?

I'm using ego c batts, no vv...yet ;-)

Ty in advance!

The main thing with learning to drip is don't get upset and quit when you flood an atty, get dry hits, and maybe even pop an atty or two. We have all been there, but once you get proficient at dripping it is oh so worth it.

Also get one of these to use with your eGo battery and atomizer. They keep it from getting so messy.

I have a lot of flavors that I like to use but not enough to fill a tank with so I will drip at home with those. With most atomizers(attys) once they are vaped dry that flavor is gone and you can switch flavors with little to no old flavor left which is great for trying new flavors. I use rebuildable attys but 306s are great and usually perform better that standard 510 atty. Also i would like to point out 306 attys use a 510 connection so there arent any adaptors required. I was confused about that when they first came out so I figured I would throw that in there.

The only time I drip is to test new flavors. I tried to stick with it but to big a pain in the ..... And as for driving I might as well be reading the newspaper. Sorry to offend but reality sucks. Pay attention when you drive, Yours not the only one on the road!!!!!!!!!!!! I've worked way to many wrecks from people on the cell phone or texting. Just my opinion.

I like dripping...the basics are: put a few drops on the atty, give it a few seconds to soak in, and get about 3 or 4 (or more) vapes. Repeat. The flavors are sometimes subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) different this way.
I don't need to devote a tank/carto/whatever to a single flavor. Sure, 'waffle' is tasty, but I'm not sure I could handle more than 15 minutes of it at a time. I'll do a few drops of 'waffle', then a few 'vanilla', then some 'coffee' to complete my waffle sundae dessert, then over to some tobacco flavor. (got a lot of mileage out of the dud flavors in my sampler this way)

But sometimes it felt a bit tedious, especially when having to clean the atty after switching certain flavors. Being a tinkerer, I tried a rebuildable atomizer (Phoenix clone), and then tried it with a SS mesh wick. Now I can drip up to 10 drops (1/2 ml) at a time, and it cleans out real easily, so I'm not still tasting the strawberries and cream when I switch to espresso.

Everyone who likes dripping has their own favorite gear: 306s, 510s, 801s, bottom feeders, rebuildables (with cotton or SS wicks) are the ones that come to mind. Pick something close to what you already have, like a basic 510 atty, and give it a try. You might like it. You might not like it. Then you find the quirks about it: one drop too little/one vape too many, and get a hot/dry hit. One drop too many, and flood your atty. You may find this too bothersome. You may find it well worth the effort.
