Now when it says it lasts about two weeks I'm assuming that means if you are using it every day. I mean, if you are just using it once in a while to test your DIY flavors, it should last a lot longer than that, right? what makes it stop working? Does the coil just go bad or something?

When first learning how to drip, and care for an atomizer, I suppose the average is a couple of weeks. The key to learning is to not get all mad & frustrated when you flood the atty, get dry hits, and maybe even pop an atty. It's all just part of learning what you can and can't do with one.

That said, after my first couple of atties only lasting a few weeks, some that I still use are over two years old.

I really only intend to use it to test DIY flavors, and I don't make much of them, so I can imagine only using it for a few toots a week even at the most. I don't see why it shouldn't last a while with that sort of usage.

When you say "pop" it what does that mean?

Also, with the one I just bought

    Empiremods Bridge Free LR510 1.8ohm

That's just a coil, right, no wick?

Sorry for all the questions on the OP's thread but might as well do it here rather than start another one on the same topic.

One thing I found out with the ego batteries, anything under 1.5 ohms does not work. Could have just been mine but that seems to be the cut off with a bunch of digital APVs (advanced personal vaporizers)

My personal favorite dripping set up is an igo-w. The coil building kinda scared me a bit but once you get the hand of it, its not hard at all. The materials for it are pretty cheap too. I just ordered 200 feet of kanthal wire for under 10 bucks!

Just testing juice flavors, it should last quite awhile. Look up a video on cleaning what you got. Usually a hot water rince, blow out excess water and a quick dry burn will keep it tasting pretty good. Some soak them in Vodka or grain alcohol. I try to keep that stuff out of the house...it makes me break out in handcuffs.
