Can I drip with a Joytech Ego-T (upgrade)?

Hi all,
I just picked up vaping again after a 6 month hiatus. I'm hoping it'll stick this time. I've some juices from then and I hope they're still ok to vape? I've also bought a bunch more, from my local e-cig shop, Vaper Venue, Five Pawn, Giant Vapes etc. I figure if I go all out and get into the gadgetry, a bunch of flavors to play around with, my chances of quitting regular cigs are greater.

So, I understand that the best way to taste a new flavor without committing to filling a whole cartomizer is to drip(?). I have so many flavors and I'm impatient and want to try them all asap! Is it possible to drip with the Joyteck Ego-T upgrade with a cartomizer or clearomizer and if so how; or do I need some other equipment?

Thanks mucho!

I suppose it is possible with a carto or a clearo, but for me, the best device to drip with is a regular 510 dripping atomizer. It's basically a metal tube with no filling inside it (to burn or to mute flavors) with a coil in the bottom. Most have a tiny amount of wicking material in them to hold a few drops of juice.

You can get one for around $4-6 each. I use the kidney puncher long barrel atomizer when I am testing flavors. It gives great vapor and flavor and should last for months. I would recommend getting a sealed 2.0ohm atomizer (or 1.8ohm atty would work too) to start with. The EGO's should be able to handle a dripping atomizer with no issues. Many people on this board started with that exact set up.

Thanks for the info! If I look for this online, do I just search for a "sealed 2.ohm atomizer"? Is that all I need?

Pretty much. The one I mentioned is $6 and can be found KP Long Barrel Sealed Atomizer - Kidney Puncher If you decide to order it, be sure to check the 2.0ohm button before submitting. I use these but I know there are others out there that may be a little less expensive. For performance, I would say these are up there - producing excellent flavor and good vapor.

There are two types of atomizer, sealed and unsealed. Unsealed has a hole in the bottom of it. This means you can use it with a liquid bottom feeder like REO or a VMOD. If you try to drip with it, you may end up with juice on your battery. For that reason, I'd recommend the sealed. If you drip a few drops too many, you'll just get a slight gurgle and no leaks. It's much easier to manage in my opinion.

One of our forum members has produced a blog all about dripping - it is well worth a read. You can find that http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/the-ocelot/4005-drip-drip-drip-sound-dripping.html (thanks to Ocelot for being awesome)

Get a regular 510 drpping atomizer. Those shown above are great. Also my wife started using 306 atomizers. They will still hook up just fine to your ego t. She now prefers the 306 to the 510. You do not need a rebuildable such as the squid in order to drip. If you choose to thats fine. But its not necessary
