When dripping was "invented" they didn't make "dripping atomizers". And 1/2 the time, those that de-bridged the atomizer had leaking issues.
If you think about it, the mesh that's over the bridge and the other mesh at the bottom is only there for one reason...to hold
juice. It's basically a "mesh wick". You know, the type of thing that everyone is trying to "roll" for all those RBA's and tanks. lol. It's already there...and standard.
Even "bridgeless" atomizers have mesh in them to hold the
juice. Just no bridge. And unless you overheat the atty it's just more wicking holding onto more
juice. So I just use standard atomizers. They're less expensive too. Same flavor to me. They do vary in quality though, so it may depend on what one you get.
They lasted a month or two for me...back when I was dripping. Blow em out twice per day. Rinse when they get gunked and warm-burn (don't pop em). And I used mostly-clear juices that didn't gunk as much (personal preference).
Note atomizer <> cartomizer. And cart <> carto. Carts go with atomizers. Carto is an abbreviation for cartomizer.
+1
I generally used authentic Joye atomizers when I could find them. If you have VV, use standard ohm range (like about 2.5 ish)
