Driving and Dripping

As a now ex, roll your own smoker. I am not used to running out of 'smoke' and enjoyed the convenience of being able to roll and drive at the same time.

As a now proud vaper, I have started to teach myself to drip and drive, as the refillable carts are only really any good the first time, and basically, I prefer the vapour that comes from dripping.

I feel I have managed to learn to use my 5ml bottle quite confidently with not less lack of observation than that when I was rolling.

Just wondering if anyone else has mastered this or has been trying to since they started vaping?

A proud, trainee, driving instructor.

I am glad you're not sharing the road with me.

Eek....watch out for the dripping driver, lol! As much as I dislike cartos, that's what I use for driving. I would hate to cause injury to someone else cause I wanted to make sure my drips made it to the atty and or didn't want to drip on myself. I think it's a bit more important to pay attention to the other 2tn+ moving vehicles or stray pedestrians on the road....JMO. ;)
I was hit by a fully loaded semi truck in December, 6 injured discs in neck and low back....and that was at a stop light. The driver wasn't paying attention.

All kidding aside, if I'm on the highway with light traffic, or at a stoplight, I have no problem dripping safely, since I got my Super T widemouth T-Tip. It is designed so it's really easy to hit the target when dripping.

radicaljd- I'm in the market for my 1st drip tip and I've read the T's are the best. Looking at their site, they also have a "shorty" (seems to fit me, hehe).
Being a little cheaper appeals to me. Are there any pros/cons compared to the regular T's?

What's the big deal? Adding a few drops to my drip tip is no more distracting to me than lighting an analog used to be.
Can you do that without taking your eyes off the road?

I take driving seriously. I won't answer a cell phone while the vehicle is in motion. Some people text message while driving and see no problem with it. Some people drink a six pack and don't think they're a hazard.

STOP the vehicle if you must drip. OR find another solution, like carts or cartos.

Wow, I have found a topic to get the braincells going :)

Sorry to hear about the accident!

I do, however, agree with radical, if done correctly and appropriately, it is no different to many things we all do or lack doing behind the wheel.

For instance, a driving fault rather than a distraction, do you 'always' check for that motorcyclist coming up/overtaking you when you turn.

Or how about when you glance at the TomTom, your attention is drawn away from the road ahead, Or glancing down to see if you want/need to answer that call?

Well then, that makes it all different. If we have distractions, what's one more?

And, BTW, I drive a smart fortwo. I always try to be aware of my surroundings on the road. But, I've only had it for two years. I've been driving for 40, and have never had more than a minor accident, rear ended & not my fault. I don't think my lack of accidents is an accident.

Driving a motor vehicle is a full time occupation. Yours and other's lives depend on it.

It's not like texting or simlar activity. I only do it on the open highway, like we have here in Texas. My eGo goes up in my field of vision while my eyes are constantly on the road, then a quick 2-3 drops... simple.

I will budge a little bit on this point. Most of my driving is not on the open highway.

Yeah I drip and drive. But then again, I routinely weaved in and around traffic at high speeds in unmarked vehicles for more than twenty years. As I blazed through intersections, I would be doing some of everything including putting on my leather gloves.

Not one single accident...

I do recall once back in my days as a patrolman getting a call to pick up a lady and get her to a hospital on the other side of the city as soon as possible to give permission for her son to have emergency brain surgery. After we got there, she asked how much training did we get to learn to drive like that. You know I had to tell her none! LOL
