I'm sorry, but I really don't think the cops these days are bright enough to use discretion anymore, it's all about generating revenue.

It would just be nice if laws were black and white in this country, seems like there are too many grey area's leaving it up to the cop/judge's discretion if your actually breaking the law or not.

There have always been grey laws but one that has always been on the books is driving with undue care and attention which basically covers everything you can think of.

Your driving down the road and you cause an accident after you spilled hot coffee on your lap bam ticket.
Your listening to your favourite music and you don't hear another persons car horn or ambulance siren and you manage to cause an accident bam ticket.

The same goes for eating, smoking and really anything else. So if you smoke, eat or use your PV safely and don't drive with ha! "undue care and attention" you shouldn't have any issues.

The main reason the distracted driving laws were brought into effect is not because of the people who can safety use their "cell phone for example" and drive. But, for all the idiots out there that can't and they have unfortunately ruined it for the rest of us.

Just last night I was driving home before dusk and a teenager was weaving back and forth across four lanes of traffic not paying attention driving about 135 kph in a 100 zone while texting on their phone..... about ten minutes later I saw them pulled over crying on the side of the road because they were getting a ticket and I hope for both infractions at this point.

With that new "Distracted Driving" law here in Alberta, I haven't heard of anything unreasonable happening (ie. getting a ticket for scratching your head), but then again, I haven't heard of anyone even getting a ticket yet.

I'd like to think Police officers are generally reasonable and won't pull you over because you adjusted the AC or stereo, or took a drag of your box mod. "Distracted" is very vague. They say you'll get a ticket for texting, but also say you can use speaker phone. So how does an officer know you're simply answering the phone and hitting 'speaker' and not texting?

I think any simple action that takes a few seconds will be ignored by most officers. Otherwise we'll get tickets for rolling down our windows, sneezing or putting on sunglasses. It's also not a cheap ticket - like $175 or something.

I picked up a bottom feeder Revolution 2.1 from HappyVaper last weekend. Without the need for topping off and reaching for a juice bottle at a red light or switching cartos while on the highway.. vaping & Driving is now less distracting than cigarettes by far! And it's better then the impairment that I once experience while going through nicotine withdraw symptoms (last month when my eGo Battery's circuit-board died! it was my first week vaping and I had just quite smoking so...)

This revolution 2.1 Is working great for me and driving. I can always find it's button and I have yet to accidentally hit the fire button on the steering-wheel. It's very light & balenced compared to an eGo, easier to grab off the passenger seat or lap and refreshing the Carto is simple. Hold upside-down over lap, squeeze and hold. lolz

Well even with the distracted driving laws in Alberta and B.C I think you're allowed to light/smoke a cigarette so I imagine in court you could beat your ticket if you got one.

That being said, I think I'd fully deserve the ticket if they caught me refilling my drip tip while driving at 100km/h like I did a bunch of times driving from Edmonton to Vancouver some months ago. It's not really super dangerous, but it's at least as distracting as trying to read a text message on your phone or something.

I just got mine a few weeks ago as well, and love it! Especially considering the Jeep-Zilla is a standard tranny and between vaping, shifting, and scratching myself, not having to worry about topping up my atty or switching cartos is just one less thing I need to do while driving. Especially with the Distracted Driving Law in Alberta.

Throw something LR on there and you've got an all day fog machine!
Throw a Kanger 510 Horizontal Carto on it with a freshly charged battery and you may find it's a steam cleaner for your mouth! I'm thinking of putting a variable voltage regulator in my Revolution so I can use up the 15 boxes of Kanger 510's and Smoktech LR XL Cartos I have here. They are both to hot on a fresh charge battery but they performed great on a eGo. I may never pick up my eGo Bat again after a mod to the Revolution.

Glad others have found the Revolution working well for them. Looking back at starting vape, I wish I had one as my second Battery. It really fills a Niche. For driving I'd pick a revolution over a Reo any day.

I'm more concerned with the drivers that act like they're distracted by driving in two lanes(of opposite direction), not following construction baricades and signs, trying to turn the wrong direction onto the highway and when you look to see what they're doing nothing is in their hand and no one is in the car!!!!!!!!! I hate sloppy drivers, you are in a piece of heavy equipment , act like it! I saw all this by 3 different drivers in a 15 minute span one day.

Sure they didn't have their phone in their lap trying to text? A lot of them do that here and think they are being clever. You can tell because they are constantly looking down.

I don't text. In fact I got rid of my cellphone earlier this year and sometimes feel like I am the only person not tethered to one. I just don't understand the need to be constantly in touch with everyone, asking, "wher u at?'

I'm glad someone had a laugh or 2 outta my post.

Seriously though, the Distracted driving law is a good one. People need to have some common sense, if you need to take the call, pull the Eff over!!! Maybe I'm old school, but why the hell do you pay for Voice Mail if you aren't planning on using it...

Now about grey areas in the law... hmmm I'm vaping Nic juice at the moment.... maybe grey aint so bad after all... LOL

good point
as a counter point it seems you can only use paypal and i dont do paypal

I have used Paypal since the beginning. It has saved my .... dealing with shady people on ebay and other places a few times. I agree, there should be another option on reomods for people that don't want to sign up for one purchase. I have skipped ordering from places before because they use some other processor that I don't want to sign up for.
