if it were just the paper, I'd say you could wrap it, but looks like the metal ends themselves are a bit damaged?

If so, I'd toss.........or rather, recycle.

I HOPE everyone is recycling their batts at a drop off.......right?
Click participation, then Find YOur dropoff location here:
Call2Recycle | United States

I through mine by the dozen into Lake Ontario. Kidding, I recycle them accordingly.

And I love orbtronics lol they are a mile from my house, but his batteries do not fit in my mechs, provari is ok but my poldi and nemi? Fuggedaboudit. And juuuuust barely make my roller..

Not only that I would love to support him cause when I was first getting rolling with mods he always answered my emails with as much info as I needed. And people like that should be supported. Very helpful dude

Question: Instead of taking off the old wrap, couldn't you just put a new wrap over the old?

Depends on the battery, the wrap and what you're putting it into. You could probably double wrap Sony VTC batteries with that super thin wrap they use without issue. But take something like a Purple Efest and even the anti-theft sticker they put on it is enough to make it difficult to slide into some mods.

ok all you battery gurus.... consider this, it is being used in a regulated mod, the whole case is a negative contact point, this can be be used without the plastic wrap. the plastic wrap is a functional insulator when used in a mech mod, other than that it has no function. think about things and how they work before posting your input....

think people..... just dont react

I'm concerned that he has a battery that isn't labeled correctly ;)

looking at the numbers that are partially visable.... it falls under Panasonics lot #s ..... but the main issue the OP is concerned about is the slight nick in the wrapper and the dent in the neg base area.... since the battery is being used in a VV/VW unit the nick has no bearing in the manner in which it is being used.... the dent in the neg base isnt deep enuf to to have disrupted the lower level electrolyte/chemical barrier plate to cause dendrite formation.....

still luv ya Robin ;)
