At the risk of sounding stupid, I have a question about drops of juice.

If I am refilling my Joye 510 carts, How many drops do you think? 3-4? 5-6?

and

About how many ml is in a single drop?

I know these are kind of weird questions but I am trying to accurately assess how much juice I will burn though when I vape.

thanks,
j

Refill until the filler looks moist and you can still see texture. If it's bubbled, wick some off. Without the straw mod, you usually can get 6 to 8 drops in the filler - with the straw mod 2x that.

It really works as it says - I use a J&J safety swab Qtip shaft, instead of the coffee stirrers.

20 drops per ml usually - but drop size can differ, but 20 from a regular squeeze bottle that most juice come in. The Ecopure bottles from cignot are smaller drops - really like those bottles too! ;-)

Awesome. Thanks! That helps me a lot. I have had my PV for almost 2 days and I have used almost 3 carts. I feel like I will be at about 1.5-2 carts a day.

So if each ml has about 20 drops at 6-8 drops per cart then a 30ml bottle should last me 75-100 carts worth which should last me 50-75 days.

Does that sound right? It seems like I may have made an error in my estimation.

I don't even think in terms of carts. I just carry a bottle of liquid around and top off my cart whenever I start losing flavor. I've found that I go thru about 10 ml a week. Although that may be going up now that I'm making my own with Capella's flavor drops. I don't even need to vape, but it tastes so delicious that I just can't stop:)

50-75 days sounds like a long stretch, unless you are vaping very lightly, and infrequently.

I'm in the 20-25ml week range. I really don't track it that closely, what's the fun in that? :) I'm more concerned with always keeping enough juice on hand, trying some new flaves, and staying off the analogs. Anything else is "work", and if it's "work", that takes away from the "fun" factor.

As Nike says, "Just Do It"! :)

Just to add it depends on the dropper you are using, some are 20, some are 40. It also depends on the viscosity of the liquid. Best thing to do if you want to know is get a 3ml syringe and drip while counting to the 1ml mark. Then you will know how many drops it takes for YOUR dropper to equal 1ml. That way you can calculate drops and ml accurately.
