But I still don't know when to top it off? I don't seem to lose vapor after 10 puffs and don't taste anything off.
Yeah, it'll often last longer than 10 drags. It depends on the size of the drips, how wet the atty is to begin with, how long your drags are etc. Just go by the flavour, if it tastes bland add 2 drops, burnt or dry, add 3.
