Hi all, in the process of doing a weekly cleaning on my T-atomizer, I've been using it for 1 week and started to notice a slight decrease in performance. I boiled some distilled water and flushed it out a few times until the water flowed freely and clear. I'm doing a dry burn of 5 sec on/5 off about 5 times now but no glowing or smoke, does this mean it's all set to go or should I be dry burning until I see a red glow?

I am not sure that you can see too much in the T atty. There is hardware in the way where you would see the coil. Check around on the forum as this is a hot topic right now regarding the cleaning and maintenance of the T equipment.

On my own I just rinse them out with hot tap water, blow them out as well as I can then zap them with two 5 second jolts with a cool down of about ten seconds in between those pulses.

Good luck.

I've never used a T Atty so I'm not sure how or where the coil is but in my experience you're going to be hard pressed to get the atty to glow using a Ego Battery, they just don't have the output. I depleted two freshly charged Riva batteries when I tried my first dry burn and never got the coil to glow. I now use a 5v pass through to dry burn and it works great.

Just make sure it's as dry as possible, might even want to let it set overnight if you have another atty to use in the mean time and you should be fine.

Re the clear tanks, I took the tank out of the atty and left it overnight flat on a paper towel, in the AM all the liquid leaked out! Has this happened to anyone else? Does it mean it's time to replace the tank?

The tank has a hole in the bottom after being pierced by the atty spike, unless you put the little rubber "sock" back on it's going to leak. That's not a malfunction. I leave my unit assembled overnight, I am guessing that the fluid contact inside the sealed unit is less harmful to functionality than exposure to ambient atmosphere, dust, evaporation, etc.
