Hi all.

I like to vape 5/50 PV/VG at 18mg and have noticed that my clearo's get dirty coils after about a day or two. Less flavor, some mild burnt taste.
My clearo's run 1.8 to 2.6 ohms and I'm always sure to adjust my wattage to stay within chart specs.

I've noticed after I dry burn sometimes I get a burnt taste that just won't go away even if I vape the coil with fresh juice for 20 to 30 toots.
I wash and then burn until the coil glows and there is no longer any foul smelling smoke being produced.
I've watched several vids on this and am wondering if this happens to others.

I use iClear 16's and have an Aspire BDC, the Aspire taste like sh** after dry burning!!!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I wash mine under hot water at the kitchen sink and then pulse the fire button until the smoke stops and the coil glows red. Then, I continue short pulses until the coil glows evenly across. Add a drop of juice and re-install.

If it doesn't vape well after that, I toss it in a zip lock to be recoiled. I always have a few that don't respond to dry burning. Those get rebuilt.
