dry burn taste

Hi im using the Inokkin clearomiser ego type vaper.recently changed to 80% VG as too much PG not so good for me .occasionally when I puff on vaper I get a yuccy burnt taste ,I never let tank get more than 2/3 empty . Occasionally I wash out clearomiser, run hot water through it, and have been diluting ejuice with a little water (purified).
I do vape a lot ,It did this couple of days from new ,any sugestions ideas ?.

1) Get a new coil, washing out an old one is not enough
2) make sure it stays wicked, VG juice has wicking problems ime

Some of the inokkin clearos are top coils and you'll get dry hits with them if you're vaping faster than they're wicking. It is why almost the whole industry went to bottom coils. Suggest trying out a Kanger T3S.

yppan is right though - once burnt, it's hard to get rid of, so the suggestions on that are good.
