Dry burning Aspire BDC coils?

I use these with a Mini vivi nova and like the vape for the most part. I do notice that the performance, though, drops considerably on these things fairly quickly.

I've always been conditioned to think that if a coil and wick is allowed to burn without juice for any period of time, that you would ruin the wick by burning it and you'd get nasty hits.

I recently saw a GrimmGreen video (the kayfun Mini one) where he dry-burned the wick and coil and it basically just burned tall the stuff off the coil AND WICK and did nothing but produce a clean wick.


So... given the fact that I have a bunch of these heads lying around that will otherwise go in the trash, I was wondering what you all thought about cleaning these through a dry-burn process.

I wouldn't..dry burning these coils will likely burn the insulator as well and it will taste like crap thereafter...

You can clean them and you can rebuild them but I would not dry burn them.
