All these suggestions are good. But (maybe I missed someone saying it) once you get a burnt taste with a coil, you will likely always get a burnt taste with that coil. One burnt/dry hit and no amount of fixing or adjusting will help. New coil, go with all these suggestions, and if you're having that many issues, drop it all the way down to say 5w and go up from there.

That's a good point. When you burn/singe the cotton, you reduce its wicking ability, and it just goes downhill from there.

adding vg to the bottle is perfectly fine, although it will dilute the flavor, and Nic if you just add plain vg.
i highly recommend it though. That much pg is gonna be incredibly harsh.
I can't even stand 50/50 with a mod.
it wouldn't be a bad idea to order some high vg juice of the same flavor to mix with, but if you don't mind cutting the flavor down WalMart seeks vg in the pharmacy section. That should make it much more tolerable if you dilute it to 30-40% pg, and I'd rather vape juice with very little flavor than juice that burns like flaming razor blades and that honestly might be the whole problem

Possibly. I'm also not a huge fan of this flavor so I might just get a new flavor w/ a higher vg ratio. Any recomendations? I like fruity its just this juice has almost no flavoring in it.

Yeah.. I use like 24mg/ml and that is even a little low for me sometimes so I can't get less of the nic. I kinda ....ed up with the pg vg thing cuz I bought a 236ml bottle of this stuff from mountain baker vapor. You think it would be a bad idea to ADD vg to the bottle?

Theoretically yes; in order to bring the nic content down sub-ohm levels (.6% or less) you'll have to use a lot of VG, so just keep in mind that the flavor will be greatly diminished. If you go that route make sure and start off with a small amount.

I have higher nic juice (1.2%) that I use for my stealth vapes, so you could always keep the juice that you have and re-purpose it. Then again, if you don't like the juice that much I wouldn't hurt to dilute some of it with VG - many people here, myself included, like non-flavored or very mild flavored juice.

For the ST Mini you definitely want at least 50/50. I usually suggest 60 VG to the average vaper who wants to sub-ohm. 70-75 VG is my sweet spot for tanks (max for drippers), but you may prefer a stronger throat hit.

I like fruity flavors,I usually stick with strawberry or orange.
never used Mt Baker, so no suggestions there. I always liked ec blends juices. The only flavor I tried of theirs and didn't like was black cherry, and I just don't like black cherry. Pretty good prices too. Try their dragon dream.

So I just got the Kanger Subox Mini, and i'm getting a dry, burnt taste with no flavor. I am using a pretty clear looking e liquid but I cant even taste a HINT of flavor. I'm using a brand new coil, made sure to prime it and let it sit for a bit, the battery is fully charged (LG HG2 18650 3000mAh 20A Flat Top Battery), and i'm using the .5ohm OCC coils. I tried all kinds of wattage settings, right now I am keeping it at 25W, still getting a really HOT burnt taste. I don't know whats wrong. I made sure to verify the The Kanger Kit, the Coils and the external charger.

Subox mini was my first rig. I maxed the .... out of it lol. The OCC coils are actually like gambling... There are duds.

Once i got dry hits, my very first time ever using these coils. I primed it, juiced the top, the two sides and filled the tanks and waited for a few and poof! Dry hits!

If you used a .5 at 25 watts and still getting dry hits then my best bet its a dud. I go up to 30 watts for the .5 OCC on my IPV4S, no dry hits, clouds of clouds and flavors are there.
