"Dry coil no liquid" when juiced up.

I was using my ipv3 li vr and noticed after hours of vaping on it, the power dropped and temperature dropped dramatically (over time). I came home after letting it sit for 4 hours or so and reset the resistance. I also checked the screws to see if they were secure and they are. I fired it up and it operates fine and produces a moderate amount of vapor but still the message shows up. Anyone know a fix? this has happened to 3 builds of mine now. It seems to be happening faster every time I build a new coil. btw ti24ga 15 wrap dual .22 build.

it's seeing extra resistance somewhere and interpreting it as high temperature.

unfortunately that kind of problem is going to be common when you want to build coils in like 0.1 ohm range because 0.1 ohm can come from simple contact resitstance

Clean the 501 connection with some rubbing alcohol and see if that helps.

If you are vaporizing juice faster than your wick can provide it to your coil you'll likely get the 'dry coil' message. I'd try rewicking or turn the power down or both.

In the picture it looks like that front edge could get a Hotspot.
