Dry hits or flooding. No inbetween!

So I recently got into vaping. I have a Panda Ego. I started out with the T3 clearo. I liked it, but then in every hit, it would flood. People suggested I try the Evod or the T3S. So I bought them. Both of them, right away, have been giving me dry hits. At least... What I think are dry hits. The vapor tastes burnt and bad. I've tried cleaning it, fully charging the batter, changing the liquid. Everything.

I can't keep buying different clearos so quickly. What should I do?

I asked Panda, and they said that I should clean the clearos with rubbing alcohol. Should I? I mean, when I used them the first time they gave me dry hits. They were clean then.

We need a bit more information here. What pg/vg ratio juice are you using? High to all VG does not wick well and does better in a bottom coil tank.

I do a 50/50 ratio.

All the clearos I have (Evod, T3, T3S) are bottom coils.

Should I do top coils? but the top coils don't make much sense to me....
