I'm using an aspire bdc ce5-s on a vision spinner 2, and I keep getting these random, unpredictable dry hits that make me wanna puke. Any tips on how to avoid this, or why this is happening?
BDC coils are built like cartomizers--the coil is wrapped in a layer of polyfill. If this polyfill is not properly saturated at all times, just like in a cartomizer, the coils don't get enough eliquid and you experience a dry hit. Prime the coils well before you fill the tank (just drip 5 or 6 drops directly into the coil head), let them sit for a while, and then be very careful when you vape--don't over vape, chain vape, power vape.

Give your juice enough time to resaturate the filler between draws--or else.
Turning down the voltage may not work, as BDC are dual coils that actually need more voltage than the singles to work properly. In my experience, they need 4+ volts to work well.
