Dry tobacco base?

I am looking for a recipe for a good dry, smokey, tobacco base. I do not care for the sweet, caramel, chocolate undertones found in most of the tobacco favs. If you have a good recipe please post or shoot me a pm. Thanks.

I haven't made it yet so I don't know for sure but yes, the EM is sweet so I'm sure the blend will have a sweetness as well.

That is what I figure, the cotton candy will have a sweet/caramel flavor to it. I use FSUSA PureCig as my daily vape but I can't figure out what is in it. FSUSA uses strictly FlavourArt so I quess I will have to fiddle around with it.

If you want super dry and super strong and not sweet at all go for Perique Black by Flavour Art. If you want milder dry go for Cowboy by Flavour Art or Mellow Tobacco by Flavour Art. Black Fire by Flavour Art will add a smokey characteristic. Whats in the base it up to you but some of us EM to smooth the tobacco out, in a small amount-- not to make it sweet. A drop of vinegar per 5 ml of any tobacco will help with the taste too.

I vape non-sweetened tobacco juices too (Purecig and 7 Leaves) and am thinking of trying Dan's recipe with ZERO or VERY LITTLE Ethyl Maltol. The recipe sounds great except for the EM. I mixed up a bottle of EM the other day from powder form and just the smell of the powder is sweet, sweet, sweet. There's no reason why you couldn't mix up his recipe and omit the EM or add a fraction of what it calls for.

Yeah...that's my plan too. Add a drop at a time until it's perfect. I hope it works out for you. I'm looking forward to trying it.

Everyone's taste are different but for me the smoke flavor overwhelmed the sweet. I really like it and I use it as a base and add different tobacco flavors to it if I want something a little different.
