DSE-801 atomizer question

Hey guys,, Forgive me but I have what seems to be a really stupid question. I just bought a HV DSE-801 HV atomizer from litecgs to use on my Prodigy V3. When I received it I was surprised as to how big this thing is. But my question is why there is no kind of filler in this. I've only had experience with 510 atties and cartos. This thing is just a long tube with atomizer wayyyy down in there.

Is this attie to be used with your own filler ? And if so how much ? And what would be the best type ? Or is this thing just used for dripping ? Which by the way this thing does hit great just putting about 6-7 drops in sitting on my V3 Please excuse my ignorence.

The 801HV is primarily used for dripping on a 6V mod or greater, it does take 4-6 drops. I have a bottom feeder, and they work great. That being said, the 801 series was originally for a pen style PV, and cartridges are available to fill...approx. 1.0ml of liquid

A regular DSE 801 is a great vap on a 6v as well, a lot of air flow, just won't work great of 3.7v.

You don't usually get any carts with any atty when purchased seperately from a kit. As already posted, almost everyone sells 801 carts. Personally i can't stand 801 carts but love the atty at 6v. Just drip it.

801's will work good on a true 3.7v device. I've had one on a Puresmoker protege for over a year now. While it does work much nicer at 5v on a passthru, it will absolutely blow you up running on a 14500 battery(just has a longer draw on it). I ordered some carts for it to try once, and my advice is don't bother. Big leaky mess imo. That, and they don't wick worth a darn. I'd say just use your 801's for dripping and you'll be happier.

Yeah thanks guys..... I'm lovin drippin this thing..... Blows any 510 out of the water I've tried so far on 6v... Just experimenting a lot right now trying to decide what's going to be best on my first VV mod. I only ordered one just to try but I have a feeling my wallet's gonna be gettin lighter in a while

Get a drip tip and vape away. You will be way better off then trying to use carts on it
