Ok, I have a question for the veterans.

I'm not completely new: 510's 306's atty, cartomizers, dripping, etc...

BUT: I bought a DSE084 starter kit. it works surprisingly well. battery life isn't that bad really.
Anyhow, I also bought a replacement atomizer and some cartridges. ok....

Well the replacement atomizer isn't the same as the original, and neither are the cartridges!

I'll rant about the different cartridges later, but for now, there seems to be two different atomizers for this model. one has a short mouthpiece and a white portion, and one has a long mouthpiece. They are also slightly diff diameters for the mouthpiece.

Anyone know why there are two models? :?:

I have no experience myself with the DSE084. It is one of the older battery types, like the E9. I can say, however, that while threading on the battery end of all attys for a given PV make are compatible, atty-cart combos are sometimes specific to a particular brand. The SLB510 and Joye 150 attys both fit a 510 battery, but they are slightly different in width at the cart end. The cart for the SLB will be too tight in a Joye 510 atty, and the Joye 510 cart will be too loose in an SLB510 atty. So what you are describing is not uncommon. It could be intentional so that you buy only one brand of carts for that brand of atty, or it could just be how the attys were machined and not intentional. But this certainly does happen.
