Hi guys....

There was a thread on "The truth on Minis" on the Review section that i found to be really informational. I learned a lot from that topic.

However, I would like to know what are the differences between DSE103/ LooongTotem & DSE801/RN4072. Frankly i've not heard of RN4072. I've always thought that DSE801 is the pen style classic and all others are just different OEM brands.

I also want to learn more about DSE103/ LoongTotem as in are they the same? They seem like the next big thing, sort of like the dream e-cig. But i'm sure there are much more that I do not know about it. If not, all other e-cigs would probably be obsolete by now.

My favourite is actually DSE801. What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Thanks a lot for helping out a newbie.

The DSE801 and the RN4072 are the same thing. They are the variety of penstyle which has small, hard to see air holes in the battery connector end, sometimes 2 and sometimes 4. The other variety of penstyle, with 4 large easily visible holes, is the SE101 or JOYE302.

The DSE103 and the LoongTotem are not the same. By LoongTotem I assume mean their v9, the newest one with a disposable one-piece cartridge/atomizer combination. The DSE103 is just a Supermini model.

I've read the forums and many people seem to adore the Loongtotem and there are also people who condemns it. Whats the verdict really? The website claims that the battery and refill can even outlast the pen style. Too good to be true? If it can, then it will be the ultimate e-cig!

WHat about the DSE103? Whats the story?

I see there really is a JOYE302. I came across many Pen style manufacturers and JOYE was one of them. I can't believe i actually dismissed them as a company ripping off DSE801 and calling it by their own model. But their refills don't fit well on my DSE801. Very loose. And their carts are packed with fibers. Very very packed to the extent that i felt that it made the amount of liquid much lesser.

I am enjoying this forum very much. I'm happy that i'm not lurking anymore!

Leaf ... You forgot about the KR-108 ...

LOL @ Battery outlasting a Penstyle ... ... The Cart/Atomizer combo design certainly outlasts a penstyle (stamina/vapor/liquid wise), that's forsure. I think Naz counted how many puffs he got on each one ... don't remember the final outcome, but it was a big #

Hey Leaf or cash, you know which of those model penstyles is best? i wanna go in on pakaday's bulk order but dont know which one to choose, i reckon some of the batts/atts will be better than others but which?

cash it only outlasts a penstyle if you dont mind smoking burning filler. in reality you get about 100 puffs, then you're smoking the fibre too as it is dry immediately around the element so it burns. this is super dangerous IMHO

Hey dc ...

Go with the 801 or 4072 ... It really just depends on if you like 2 or 4 holes. Standard 801 is 4 holes. Standard 4072 is 2 holes. The KR108 are 4 large holes, and is actually considered to be the bottom of the barrel so to speak. Both in quality and price (however, this is not from first hand use, just from what I have seen and been told)

Now I remember your thoughts on the loong dc. I forgot about yours. Off the top of my head, I could only remember Naz's review!

Thanks

Yeah. The KR-108 is the ePuffer and Jane's. Same design, different factory than SE101/JOYE302. I would actually put it about even with RN4072/801. Similar smoke volume, perhaps a little weaker, but easier draw. Tends to have switch issues, but the Rn4072 tends to leak and gives occasional bad hits, so that's a wash between them. Look for the JOYE302. That's better.

Dude- ya either gotta be doing somethign wrong, or the cartridges you got are not very good- I'm getting WAY more than 100 puffs off a cart & I'm talking abotu double and triple draw puffs too- not just siongle ones- I work my atomizer quite hard. The small piece of cotton around the coil wire will burn, but it takes a long time for htis to happen for me. to avoid it happening for a couple of days, I'll now refill with 2-3 drops about 3/4 of the way through the day now & can go for a coiuple days without it burning- infact, the cartridge will 'gum up' and just stop working before it burns out on me now. I haven't had one burn in a long time now. Try refilling about 1/2 to 3/4 the way htrough a day with 2-3 drops- if you sense a bit of burned smell/taste, refill right away with 2-3 drops- if you get hte burn smell/taste, you're goign too long before adding a couple of drops liquid.

Maybe I just vape it different than you- I always start by doing a very quick 'primer puff' of 1 to 1 1/2 seconds, stop, let it sizzle & pop for 1 second, then do a full draw, (and usually immiediately do another prime, then another full draw right away) & I've found htis gives alot more vapor this way- I count all htis as one draw (it's actually two 1/2 draws, but I count one 'lung full' as one draw, and it takes a double and sometimes triple draw liek I mentioned to give me a full lung, which I count as 1 draw)

When I first got the loong, I did a review with a cartridge draw count & I did several cartridges & got all about the same counts before it burned and died. Can't remember how many draws I got now, but it was quite a lot. I'm getting even more draws off one cartridge now by refilling and preventing the burn.
