I didn't know the 601 had a green LED. Maybe I didn't get a true DSE601?

My 601 does not have a green led that I'm aware of.

Blinking sometimes indicates the battery needs to be recharged. I know the light is supposed to turn to green as a prewarning the battery voltage has dropped, then it blinks, but not continuously.
Contact the vendor about this. What you describe is not normal to my 601.
I charged 2 batteries until they were green on the charger. Same results, so I'm semi-convinced it's not batteries.
I've contacted Heaven Gift, this was their response:
Hi Howard,
We are very sorry to know your received a problematic e-pipe. Thanks for contacting us for it.
The e-pipe worked well during our test before shipping. It's a little bit strange that it could not work properly as soon as you received it. Anyway, we will help you solve the problem.
It seems that the problem is with the pressure switch of the e-pipe. You can try blow the e-pipe from the mouthpiece end with strength several times to retrieve the pressure switch. Please do have a try and let us know the result.
Yours sincerely,
Heaven Gifts
It's not clear to me what kind of testing they do before shipping the item, but it's clear that something's wrong with the e-pipe.
As per their suggestion, I blew on the mouthpiece a few times with no luck. The green l.e.d constantly remains blinking.
I've subsequently e-mailed them a request for their address so that I can return this and hopefully exchange it for a new one. I only got it yesterday so it should be well within the "1 year warranty" on the item. Has anyone had any experience returning items to "Heave Gift"?
Since this was my first time ordering from Heaven Gift, I'm concerned about any future business I may have with them. Hopefully, this will be handled properly, because I'm actually contemplating the purchase of the Ruyan e-pipe. But that's an item I would acquire later on down the road once I am assured that they are a reliable supplier.
Here are some additional shots of the DSE601:
One other thing that concerned me was that while the item was packed with an exorbitant amount of bubble wrap(close to 4 layers), I had ordered several other items, such as 20 m401 empty cartridges, m401 batteries & atomizers, 2 bottles of e-liquid and various other items.
Everything was stuffed into the DSE601 box. I'm wondering if all the rattling that took place during shipping might have caused the problem with the DSE601.
