Brand new Riva 510 issues

I just got my first Riva 510 yesterday and it worked beautifully. It was on the charger all last night. I just now tried to take a drag, and the light blinked a bunch of times and nothing happened. Now the light doesn't light up at all when you press the button. What happened? I put it back on the charger, the LED on the wall wart is red, and the LED on the usb part that is connected to the battery is glowing green. I'm crushed.

contact your vendor....they will usually replace them..

Almost positive that it's the charger. I have another battery that uses the 510 threads (not a Riva), and it won't take a charge off the charger. Unfortunately I don't have another charger that works with those threads. I had purchased the other battery thinking it was the right size for atomizers I had on hand. Wish I had another way to test it. Any one have any suggestions or know something that I've missed?

Thanks Deb, I just sent Liberty Flights an email. Hopefully they can help me.


Update:
I was reading through older posts, trying to see if someone had a similar problem. tsunamei had a post that stated if you screwed the battery tighter, almost to the point of forcing it, it would take the charge. IT WORKED!!! I got the blinking blue light, and the LED on the USB portion is now red! Yay, it's charging! I'm so happy!

Glad I stumbled along this thread, my riva passed into the us on the 5th, Im hoping it comes by monday. Now if my battery isn't charging, ill know what to do

Sometimes it helps if you raise the center post in your battery just a hair. You have to do it very gently, though.
