I have both kits and I gotta tell you. I didn't see a differance at first between the two. They both have excellent vapor. But the battery on the 801 is a bit squirlly. It blinks too much if you are inhaling for longer than 5 seconds decreasing your battery life. Also, if you shake the battery or move your hand suddenly, the led light lights up also decreasing your battery life. All in all, I think the 801 is a generic brand of the joye302 in which the joye wins. Also, the atty on the 801 burns a lot hotter decreasing the life of the atty. What are your thoughts?

Go to manual (with button) if you do not like it being so sensitive to air movement. that was something I just hated. made me feel like it was out of control.

Good night

I agree with switching to a manual battery, it gives you much more control. I started with an automatic and was frustrated when it would shut off before I was ready. For battery life I really like the eGo/Riva type. A lot of people can get a full day from one battery. I usually go through two in a day, but I'm a fairly heavy vaper.

I have a DSE801 with a 302 atty. I have no clue what the difference is between an 801 atty and a 302 atty but there is a difference. Dondavoom recommended that I order a 302 atty with my 801 kit to see which one I liked best. I'm so thankful he did because it makes a world of difference on the performance of my 801. I started out with the 801 atty and used it for a couple of days and then changed it. I haven't put the 801 back on it since then and don't plan to unless both of my 302's bite the dust.

Thanks, I'm actually doing the same thing right now. But I was told the atty for the 302 has 2 holes which produce more vapor and the 801 atty has 4 holes which produce less vapor. Now if you ask me what the holes mean and where they are, I could'nt tell you. I'm still new to this.

I've been vaping since April and there's so much I don't know. This is an ongoing learning experience. I do know what I like and what works for me and that seems to be the bottom line. Good luck on your new venture. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am. Thanks for the info. I had no clue!
