Here is a simple hack for using DSE901baterry on a KR808D-1:

Take a nail clipper, and slate\ clip \ cut (cannot find the right definition...) a "line" in the threading of the 901 battery (going from the batt, to the cato, ill post a pic).

The problem I faced was that the 808 had air channels and the 901 did not, but I like the 901 since it was running higher voltage. so far it works fine.
I couldn't find any info, hence this thread - suggestions and corrections are most welcome.

BTW the charger is also compatible between ( I am using a Halo charger for the 901 batt).

Using on Halo. I don't think it works well on open autos either, the Air only comes from the battery air switch (it is supposed to come partially from both).
Anyway update:
I killed the high voltage batt. on a low res carto from Halo and it drained the battery to death (yes I know - a newb mistake...). it was fun while it worked :)
901 atomizers should work fine on any 808D-1 battery EXCEPT for the 'sealed' autos. Is that what you're trying to use them on?

The 901 gets its airflow through the atomizer. The 808 gets it's airflow through the battery.

A 901 atomizer works fine on a regular (not the 'sealed') auto 808 battery or manual 808 battery. It's just a little too airy. An 808 will not work on a 901 battery because there's no airflow at all. Unless, of course, an adapter is used.

Yes, there is . you crack the thread vertically for air flow and it works...
