So I just got my rn4072 and my dse901 and I noticed that on the rn4072 with one of my batteries the light will stay lit after I take a hit... same thing is happening with one of my dse901 batteries... are they defective I don’t drip smoke if that helps. The other batteries work fine is there anything I can do to fix this or are they defective and I need to send them back? Please let me know.

These batteries have the cursed microphone switch. It is supposed to be activated by sound but I have found they are either very sensitive or very possessed. I had 901s from TW and Diet Smokes and had no issues with mine, they had the vacuum switch, my neighbor bought some from TW which had the microphone switch and half of his batteries stay on when activated until the 5 second cutoff activates. It's real annoying. The only solution I see is to either buy a Screwdriver, make a magnum mod or try and find some older vacuum batteries....

Hopefully the vacuum switch will either be improved or replaced soon...

A sticky switch can cause a lot of atomisers to break early because they stay on without liquid moving through so if you can't fix the problem send the battery back or don't use it. You can also tap the battery on something the moment it does that to turn it off. I have fixed several RN4075 batteries with sticky switches simply by blowing air through both sides with a little tyre compressor.

no , like franklyspeaking said , these batteries have the "electronic microchip" switches , IE: no vacuum switch to get stuck. Tapping an older vacuum / airflow batter on a table will un-stick it , these batteries are activated by the slightest sound. My advice would be to go to e-smokeytreats and get some airflow/vacuum switch batteries and never use the electronic switch batteries ever again.

i have 2 red 801 batteries with the electronic switches that do the exact same thing. When you draw they stay activated until the 5 second cut off is reached and i have another black electronic switch battery that will activate and go to the cut off even if i don't draw on it
